My partner and I chanced a visit with our dog after a walk, arriving around 13.30 on a Sunday, fully expecting to have been overly hopeful by turning up without a booking. Instead, the staff very kindly offered us a table that had a reservation for just under 2hours away. We both ordered a Sunday roast (chicken and pork respectively). The meat was tender, the portions were a good size, the veg was vibrant and crunchy, and we both cleared our plates! The staff were attentive, friendly and professional, and even brought a water bowl and some treats for dog before our food arrived! We will definitely be returning!

A group of us had lunch and we all chose various pies...the pastry was extremely hard, to the extent that it shattered when cut into. The fillings were mimimal and nondescript. We elected to have mushy peas and we got a small dollop of very bland green stuff. The chips were just mediocre. The place itself is pretty good and the service and hospitality excellent. But the overall experience was somewhat underwhelming.

This was one of our random stops we seem to do alot of. Nice looking building with parking.Inside is all nice and modern looking and was greeted straight away by a friendly staff member and shown a table. Food was ordered quick and came out quick as well and food was nothing special but was nice and tasty and fresh which was good.Dog friendly as well.

What a lovely meal at The Flower Pot. Beth was an amazing waitress, polite and attentive and the chicken roast was outstanding. Glenn is very polite and welcoming landlord and seems to run a very smooth operation there.

Sunday roast dinner, let down by tough beef, would have requested steak knife, but nobody came near to ask.

Quick service, very welcoming and the aspect of choosing a small or large meal is ideal. Ample parking, tasty food and the super cute flowerpots made our visit very charming and memorable.

It's a shame there are so many 'terrible' reviews on TA, I've not eaten here for a while so can't really comment to be fair. Brought a friend for the first time, she was very complimentary, great ambience. I'm not a big fan of the Robbies ale but it was nice to have a Moretti for a change.

Excellent service, good food and drink at reasonable prices, what more can one say.
