It was our first time coming here, we came as a family of 6. As we arrived we was told there may be a wait, which we didn’t mind as it was a busy Friday night. As we were waiting, the very lovely couple offered a round of drinks for our wait, provided the children with some nibbles and free ice cream all on the house, they both were so friendly and very apologetic. Absolutely superb establishment. Pizza is delicious and there's a great selection to pick from. Good selection of beer (especially the Happy Valley stuff they make themselves) and cocktails. The staff and service are excellent and the pub itself is really comfortable and welcoming. Best place in macclesfield for beer and pizza. Would highly recommend the Hoppiness.

Went for a pizza and to sample the Sworn Secret on draft, but got seduced by the newly-launched APA - I was not disappointed! The pizza wasexcellent as usual, and Grant is an excellent host.
