Held a lunch party for 24 of our family celebrating my son's 18th and dad's 80th. From the ease of organising the pre-order to the welcoming and attentive staff during the meal, it was fantastic. Slightly more expensive than normal but the environment and atmosphere are worth it. There's lots of nooks and crannies to get yourself hidden away in and forget your cares for a few hours. Staff were lovely and friendly.Vegetarian options: Several vegetarian options clearly indicated in the menuParking: Plenty of parking in the grounds.Wheelchair accessibility: I would imagine it's difficult to manoeuvre all around the various areas but lots of outside seating and an area as you enter would be easy enough although I think you would have to book (for inside).
We were at a funeral wake there yesterday and I have to say the food was excellent and the service too. They made a sad occasion a memorable one. Thank you.

Had a private celebration of life occasion yesterday. I was appalled at the room that was given to us. Way too small, stuffy and the food that was served wasnt much of a selection for the price per head. Extremely disappointed.

Visited today with my partner and his grandma and it exceeded our expectations. Was the nicest roast dinner I have had anywhere in months. The service, atmosphere, ambience and especially the food were of the highest standard. The portions were good, the quality of the meat and the attention to detail from our waiter and in all elements of the food were spot on. The house wines were a French Sauvignon and a Nero D’avola. The cherry sorbet and the champagne sorbet came with a fresh mint sprig. The building itself is very charming with its older black and white features and wide fireplaces. What a perfect place for a Sunday lunch.
