Had the most amazing dinner at the øld pub last night. We were served by Matt and he was wonderful, some of the best service me and my partner have ever come by! The food was just as stunning. Pricing was fair due to the quality of food provided and they were very understanding of my gluten free dietary requirements. We will 100% be back again!
Been here several times over the past few years going back to when it was the Black Swan. Food is excellent and freshly cooked with a good choice to suit varied tastes. The specials offer a slightly different twist which makes them more appealing. The Host and staff are excellent.Very attentive. The pub is slightly off the beaten track but well worth the effort whether at lunchtime or the early part of the evening. Came here for a very impromptu Sunday lunch today on its first day back open and I have to say the staff were amazing, the young lady serving us was extremely pleasant and efficient, she earned her tip ? but the food was fantastic. No word of a lie but the beef I had was the best cooked beef I’ve EVER had, it was so good I nearly re-ordered. Would highly recommend on a chilly day as there 3 log fires (I think)
