The staff is incredibly attentive and friendly, making every visit memorable. Live music nights add to the charm. The only minor flaw might be occasional busyness, but it's a must-visit for a fantastic night out.”
Bar • “Great lunch venue with friendly and efficient service. We enjoyed the two course £14.99 menu. There was a 3 course option but we had plenty with two. We had large and tasty starters and four of us chose one of the delicious steak main courses. Really good value I would say so can definitely can recommend. Surprised that so few people seem to know about this venue ( we were there for Thursday lunch) which was fairly quiet.”
Bar • “We were in early for a kids birthday party as they have a cinema room upstairs, so we waited in the bar downstairs, they have done a great job of updating the pub, we didn't have any food other than a bag of crisps, but they do have a good selection of quality ales, wines, and cider's definitely a good place to ”

Bar • “Firstly, I have to say that the earlier review of 1 star and complaining about staff responsiveness and food quality is about as FAR removed from my reality as it is possible to get! I have been visiting this place for 14 years and really is the BEST plave for top quality beer, food and great staff. If I ever get visitors staying, especially overseas, we take them to the Windmill as the exemplar of the Great British Pub!”

Food sounded fantastic, but we just had a pint of Sir Philip bitter and Hanging Stone smoked porter from Winkle Brewery. Lovely, friendly service. Dog friendly!”
