Absolutely delicious food from Nara’s Kitchen Cambodian food - served on Friday and Saturdays in the Lounge Bar. Authentic food and fast service - they do take away too!

Friendly landlord who served a nice pint of Inch's cider, however, we went in there to eat Thursday evening to find food was only served on Friday and Saturday. Cambodian menu looked fantastic and we will try to get back there again.

Ordered a half of Osset White Rat. Was served it in a glass with a dead fly on the rim and black gunge on the rest of the rim. Pointed this out to the barman who offered to change to a fresh glass. Fair enough. But then proceeded to pour beer from dirty glass into clean glass. I politely requested fresh beer in the fresh glass, at which point senior barman told me to leave! Unbelievable poor customer service and bad hygiene practice. Wouldn't recommend. Unnecessarily aggressive and miserable bar staff. Very disappointing.?

We booked the back room for a get together with family and friends and Steve the landlord provided a lovely buffet. It was the perfect venue with a nice beer garden and steps to seating by the canal. It was all ready for us and Steve was really helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. There was no problem parking nearby and it went really well, I would definitely recommend the Puss in Boots as a venue for a do.
Nothing special, the TV was on way too loud and the new landlord was pretty miserable. Probably won't be back

Went for a steak with a friend after a nice drive in the Peak District a few weeks back. Steak was fantastic. service was excellent and the staff were friendly. Will definitely be going back!
