Stopped at Macclesfield and decided to eat at the silk trader. Lovely hot and tasty food at a very reasonable price. Bar staff/owner very friendly and professional. Great variety of spirits. Thank you
A great venue. Trooper on tap which is tremendous. The staff are excellent and the atmosphere is casual. Great place to watch the football. Food was also very good. They catered for our large family gathering with no hassles and looked after us very well.

Not only do they serve good food - my son fell over today and cut his head by the pub. I panicked and took him inside to wait for my parents to come and they were so helpful - a customer having a drink as well as the bar staff and landlord all got involved to make sure both my son and myself were ok as well as helping to carry my pram with my newborn inside. Amazing people ❤️
