First time visiting since the new landlady took over this lovely village pub and wasn't disappointed. The menu is small but with good options, also a children's menu, I had the chicken curry, and my husband had the fish & and chips, which was a generous portion, mine had plenty of chicken.Reasonably priced, good atmosphere, lovely landlady, will definitely be repeat customers.

We had a great evening, again another great pub ? there is a new landlady and the food is generous and good, last week they fitted a log burner, got rid of the pool table and 2 sofas and a large rug are now in the place, this is now a cosy warm space, the pub is large and can accommodate a good number of people, there's a good variety of wines, ales, and other beer and larger's, the shipyard IPA is a favourite, there is a small bar area with tables and an open fire, there's also another seating area towards the end of the pub with another open fire and the access and egress for the toilets, smoke area and the car park and in the car park there is an outside seating area of a good size (I can't remember if it is covered) and there was 2 rooms in the small cottage in the car park, my mother in law stayed there a couple years ago and it was very well presented, although I don't know if it's available for rent at the moment, and the last thing is the view it would make a great base place for walking there's plenty of walks and some very interesting places to visit close by.

We visited Rainow as tourists from 13th-14th September and attended the pub both days. On the first day (Wednesday) we joined in on a Pub Quiz and on the second day we both had fish and chips. The staff/owner here are very friendly and welcoming and it has a lovely local atmosphere. The prices are reasonable and the food was nice (fish and chips and a starter of olives). I would definitely return here if we found ourselves in Rainow again so thank you. If you are staying in Rainow directly it is the only pub within walking distance.

Recently changed hands and the food is really excellent for a country pub. We had three courses each and the fish and chips were some of the best I've had. Staff are efficient and friendly and drink options have improved.

Friendly place, always an excellent pint, surrounded by great walks and cycling trails, beer garden is perfectly placed for catching the afternoon sun.

I have been past The Robin Hood, numerous times but never ventured inside before. So, when the chance came to meet up with some close friends who live in Rainow, I jumped at the chance. We had some beers - Wainwright’s Gold and the lovely girl with us had a large Pinot Grigio. We all are Fish and Chips which was really excellent as you will see from the photos. Great evening with very good and friendly staff and locals. Thank you for making me so welcome. I will be back…

We had a family event that required booking all four rooms at once at the Robin Hood. Karen, the landlady, couldn't have been more helpful in accommodating our relatively large group (babies and dogs included!) and nothing was too much trouble for her. The rooms were comfortable and the access was easy. Food was delicious, service was both quick and responsive and our 3-night stay couldn't have gone any smoother.I would absolutely recommend staying at the Robin. Many thanks Karen for helping us to have such a memorable and enjoyable stay!
