Meal and stayed the night. Excellent food and service amazingly friendly waiting on staff. Watch out for the low beams in the bed rooms. Room was very comfortable. Just had a few issues getting onto some of the TV apps.

I have eaten here a couple of times recently with my partner and family.On both occasions I received a warm welcome from staff who were very professional and friendly/attentive.The decor and ambiance was excellent and fits well with the rustic pub feel, with a modern twist.I had the rump steak and it was cooked to perfection and very tender. The chips were very obviously home cooked and fresh. My family had the fish and chips and steaks also were very impressed with the quality of the food and value for money. The portion sizes are very generous too. It's not the cheapest place to eat, but equally you can tell you are getting the quality you pay for consistently and for that reason it's worth every penny. In all fairness you could pay more in some high end restaurants and it wouldn't be noticeably better than here. Excellent and we'll definitely be coming back soon.

We were a table of 8 and the service was incredible. I am sad I didn’t get our servers name as she was brilliant, nothing was too much trouble and she was smiling constantly. The food was delicious, I had the garlic bread to start but no one had a bad word to say and we each had a starter. I decided to go with the beef wellington for my main and those potatoes were divine. The beef was cooked brilliantly and the sauce that came with was yummy as well. Apart from it being out in the middle of nowhere I can’t say a bad thing about the place. I can not comment on the accommodation as we didn’t stay over but we will be back.
