Hadn't been for a while so thought we'd go back. Definitely won't be going again.It used to be a lovely pub. Regulars always sat at the bar. Always had a friendly atmosphere.NOT any more . Tables were dirty empty glasses everywhere. Ashtrays dirty and all over tables, the whole place just had a dirty unclean feeling to it . Made you feel uncomfortable.We quickly finished our drink & left.Went to the other pub bit further up.Got to say the whole thing upset me as I used to work there. It was such a lovely place.So come on the new landlord get it sorted

Good pub, can get very busy when footballs on, will miss Pat the landlord when he goes in November, whoever takes it on has big shoes to fill!

the guy on the bar didn’t give us a glass of water, IN THE HEATWAVE, after we offered to even buy a drink as he complained he had to wash the glasses. unhappy, not coming again.

First time I have visited meeting someone for a quiet chat football was on TV far too noisy but pub itself was nice

Not only do they serve good food - my son fell over today and cut his head by the pub. I panicked and took him inside to wait for my parents to come and they were so helpful - a customer having a drink as well as the bar staff and landlord all got involved to make sure both my son and myself were ok as well as helping to carry my pram with my newborn inside. Amazing people ❤️
