Was invited here by a local Rotary Club to give a talk. I've walked past this place a hundred times in the last twelve years and never tried it. It was fantatsic. Food was served in generous portions, piping hot and delicious. Very friend staff too. Will definitely be back.
They have a brilliant quiz, darts n doms, pool table, sport on tv. Pets are welcome but kids not after 5pm.The ladies toilet has no indoor disabled access and is often flooded or out of order... drinks are on the higher price range but spirit are served at 25 and 35 ml...the overall atmosphere of this historic building is great... just don't use the toilets!

We booked the function room for a baby shower and the landlady, Mandy, provided an excellent buffet which was also great value for money. The staff were very friendly and helpful, we were very happy customers!
