Pubs • “We had a great time here. The barman was friendly and we had a good chat with him.Can't comment on the food as when we visited they weren't serving. It was very quiet so somewhat lacked an atmosphere but that wouldn't put me off going back.”

Pubs • “Fish and chips at a pub is always a gamble I think but this was the nicest fish and chips I’ve had in a long time! Staff were really flexible and helpful when our son didn’t fancy anything on the kids menu (it was a bit boring to be fair as most pub kids menus are)Lovely food, lovely staff, would visit again if in the area.”

Pubs • “We had never been here before but as it is going to be our nearest local soon, thought we would give it a try. This is probably the cleanest pub I have ever been in it is also bright, friendly and well priced and Boy is the food good, we all had a great Sunday Lunch and then enjoyed a couple of drinks in the beer garden and even those tables are scrubbed., It did seem quiet and looked as though it could do with more local Support Personaly the only downside was they were limited on the Real Ale but we will be back and recomend people give it a try. Dave”

“We enjoyed a very tasty and fairly priced Sunday Lunch in the lounge at the Wickstead Arms today. The welcome and service throughout were fantastic. A cosy and traditional pub decor, with regulars at the bar but just as much welcome for someone new (and with a baby in tow). We hadn’t booked, but luckily there was a table. Gluten free Sunday Roast option. Clean and tidy including the toilets (no official baby change due to limited space, but a mat was available and the floor was clean).”
