“A Christmas cracker! What a night my colleagues & I from Reaseheath College (REAA) apprentice training centre had at this beautiful old pub. We all opted for the Christmas menu, amazing value and off the scale delicious. Every plate was loaded and served piping hot. Great fresh food. The beer was as we have come to expect at The Lion, truly the best pint in Nantwich.
Although really busy, the service was tip top. Couldn't be faulted. Thank you Darren & team, it was such a memorable night ?”

“I hhad my birthday here a few weeks ago. I have to admit, somewhat unplanned. We did tell all our friends where we’d be though. WHAT A NIGHT! Dragon and Belma were seriously on form with so many people just turning up. The beer was good, the shots were great, the company was obviously amazing and the jukebox was alight with the best tunes one could ask for. We had an amazing time and I’d really like to thank Dragon for that. Highly recommend! They do great food…which I had tasted on a different occasion and the service is great, regardless of how busy it is. There’s a beer garden and a pool table as well. Bring on the summer!”

“Called in on the off chance, after visiting Nantwich Sunday afternoon. Luckily the staff, found a table for two straight away. Bar service was excellent and the food was great value piping hot and delivered quickly.
Found all the staff to be really helpful and nothing was to much trouble. Good range of drinks available. ?? And both Sunday lunch and the regular menu had a good choice of food. Will definitely visit again. Thanks to all the helpful staff.”

“Came for my son’s birthday he had pizza we had bar food. The best black pudding stack starter I have ever tasted followed by an excellently cooked Steak. Stuffed worth every penny with very friendly staff. Definitely worth a visit booking recommended as it popular”

“Myself and some friends call in Nantwich on a frequent basis having business at a local auction house. We always start or finish our visit at the Leopard because its the finest example of Joules business model. Excellent, stylish decor , a warm welcome and a menu that makes you want to order everything on it. Well done to all the team our visit this week saw two of us order the daily special a grilled cheese sandwich with a soup dip. Grilled cheese sounds pretty mundane doesn`t it ? try one it`s unlike anything I`ve seen or tasted before.”
