Stopped for the lunch Carvery with the family today. The father in law reckoned it was the best he had ever had. The atmosphere was nice and relaxed and the staff very welcoming. Will go again.

Had a lovely meal with a friend here and the service and staff are lovely. The view is amazing. We had to leave before we got our desserts but the staff kindly put them in containers so we could take them home. I marked the food down 1 star because there was no tartar sauce available & the peas where a bit too mushy for me, but over all I loved it and will definitely come back

My grandchildren took me here on Sunday for a surprise impromptu meal. They didn't think to contact ahead and book and when we arrived we were meet by a very handsome young lad called Ben who reassured us he could find us a table on this busy Sunday. Within few minutes he had us seated and explained how we could order at the bar or using the app at the table.Food was lovely 10 out 10. Definitely the worst roast dinner I have had here. The roasties were dry and looked like they had been there quite a few hours. The small section of veg that was there was very cold and dry. A complete waste of money, it will be a while until we come back here.Very disappointing.

Amazing staff, so friendly, we were put on a table with a lovely view! Staff were knowledgeable about every item we asked about. Very laid back atmosphere. Really clean toilets and excellent for parking. Well worth the drive up from Wrexham, originally found by accident but we are frequent visitors now.

The hostess of the Old Quay Parkgate was lovely on top of how fantastic the food is, the service from the hostess was genuine, she was very friendly towards my daughter aswell as to me and my partner. The other collegues were very well presented and kind with service ? always the nicest place to come with family and enjoy and well prepared dinner❤️

Came for breakfast, toaster was not working but staff member Ben was really helpful and made some toast using the pizza oven for my autistic friend! She then decided she wanted pudding during the service of breakfast, Ben again went above and beyond and made the dessert himself!He was very friendly and kind throughout our visit! 10/10 service, thank you Ben :)
