Having stayed at the Ship many times pre Covid, we noticed a few reviews suggesting that the food wasn't quite as good upon reopening. Having stayed during early November we found nothing of the sort, the Ship is just as good as its always been, the remodelled bars and updates are also a huge improvement.Walkability: Excellent paths and trails with outstanding views ?
We had a table for eight, the surroundings were warm and inviting the service from MillieWas exceptional , our food starters mains and deserts plus wine were of high standard. enjoyable evening had by all ?

This pub/hotel has been refurbished during the last year and is a really nice place to eat and drink. The fish and triple cooked chips were really nice and the Shiraz was the perfect temperature. A nice table by the log fire on a cold November afternoon is definitely the right choice. Very helpful and happy professional staff too. What's not to like!
