“We had my daughters wedding here.She used all the flowers from the garden for her flowers from the onsite florist.She and her husband choose them a few days prior to their wedding..such a lovely touch..the florist did such beautiful displays,bouqets etc,they were faultless! The venue is beautiful and the staff very attentive.we booked out all the rooms and it made it feel so private and intimate.The 3 course meal was well cooked,and very tasty.The bar staff did great drinks and service was quick.The serviving staff were very polite and it all flowed with no hitches.The wedding organizer onsite ensured everything ran to clockwork on the day..Everybody said how gorgeous it all was..a really magical day for the couple,friends and family..thank you to all the staff..”

“A great, local independent. There were 5 of us and total cost for 10 cokes, toast and 3 sweet / savoury bowls, along with 2 hours of gaming was under £10 per person. Great value and very knowledgeable staff.”

“Came across this cafe today whilst doing a circular walk from the Hayhurst Arms pub. It had started raining and we needed a quick pit stop to shelter from the brief rain shower! Was a lovely little place, very nice coffee and lovely staff ?”

“We absolutely love this place. We've tried out a few eating places around Hartford, but this is by far our favourite. Excellent food every time, waiters are warm and polite and friendly. Love it here. For us - me, a person with many the dietary restriction, and my sister, autistic with a particular palette - we are delighted to have found many menu items we can eat. “I went for the full breakfast which was 2 sausage, 2 rashers of bacon, mushrooms, beans, tomatoes (tinned), 2 eggs and 3 pieces of great toast.I had a cup of filtered coffee which was the only disappointment as it was barely warm.All in all great value”

“Bacon and egg bap, same on toasties, coffee and hot chocolate. Great bacon, lovely eggs, coffee home from home, chocolate thick to the very bottom. It's just a truck stop but lovely home cooked fayre.”

“Fresh, tasty sandwiches and other breakfast and lunch options. They can get busy, but also take pre-ordered via telephone and online. Some people have moaned about the price, but you are getting fresh food and the portions are pretty big too. You do get what you pay for :)”
