Wonderful experience! We aren't from round here so we took a chance on the riverside inn as we were passing. First thoughts - beautifully decorated. We were then seated at the window looking out over the canal which was a stunning view. There were so many options to choose from on the menu. All 5 of us loved our meals!The manager came over to talk to us at the end and she was so lovely!100% recommend ?

I had my first experience tonight an it was flawless. The atmosphere is so relaxing and staff were exceptional from start to finish.The choice of wine is one of the best in Cheshire and the quality of the dishes is absolutely perfect. We had around 8 dishes between us and the taste & flavours were amazing. I would highly recommend the duck breast with braised leak and honey jus.Thank you to all and I look forward to my next visit!

I run a home for adults with learning disabilities and it was one of their birthdays so I booked a table for the 10 on us. The staff were really amazing, the food was lovely everyone enjoyed what they had ordered and it was very reasonably priced. Staff even brought his birthday cake out with the candles on so we could sing happy birthday. I highly recommend Weavers whistle in Lostock GralamDietary restrictions: Staff were very diligent in checking dietary requirements before food was served

Had a meal here on Saturday night and l still feel that the food and service is brilliant. Tried the chicken and lamb skewers which are just as good as the ones I get when on holiday. The staff are very welcoming and attentive. Look forward to going again withsome friends in the near future.

We moored on the pub mooring, room for two narrow boats. Dogs are welcome in the smaller bar area. Great welcome from the staff very attentive to our needs, on our numerous visits. Food is amazing. We ate on a Wednesday evening prior to quiz night, we were warmly invited to stop and join in.We had Sunday lunch which was very good, personal preference not keen on it being presented in layers like to be able to see the food and to be able to cut into it.Certainly do visit if you have not, we would return if in the area. Landlady Moira and her staff run an exceptionally good pub.

One of my favourite places, just wished I lived a little closer , absolutely lovely setting right on the edge of canal , especially fab in summer when they have bands on outside, Sue and Steve always make me feel welcome and as for the regulars they are the friendliest bunch of nutters (in a nice way) you will ever meet , again always make me feel welcome.The Lambs Wharf also has amazing live bands on which 99% of time is free entry, I could go on and on but I'll let you find out for yourselves what an awesome place this is , you won't be disappointed x

At least a weekly treat is necessary from here as the cakes are very, very tasty. Iced sponge cakes, brownies, cupcakes and flapjacks mean there is something for everyone. The lemon drizzle is moist and scrumptious, a personal favourite of mine. See you soon ?

Our 1st time in using this chippy in ages, now ive moved to Rudheath from Moulton it will be our local from now on.£6 for the fish&chip meal deal was yummy( batter was light crispy and not greasy) and excellent VFM and a good portion for myself, ( a slice of lemon and tartare too)! my dtr had the sausage chips with gravy,she said it was yummy. I phoned my order through and it was ready for noon pick up.

My wife and I went for our Northwich Ukelele Club Christmas Meal on the Friday before Christmas... Their was over 30 of us, the food was superb, the staff were practically rushing around trying to serve us all at the same time. They were excellent as was the food and the atmosphere. At no point did we feel rushed or hurried, everybody had a great time. My wife who isn't normally over keen on Indian food thoroughly enjoyed hers so much so that she sent me down for a cheeky takeaway a couple of days into the new year.

There were 9 of us there this afternoon for Mother's Day and as usual we had a lovely time and a lovely meal. The staff are just lovely without exception. Special thanks to the lovely young lady with the blonde hair (sorry, I didn't get your name) who had a quick word with the chef and tailored my meal to help me stick to my Slimming World journey. I was extremely grateful and touched that you did that for me. I can't recommend this place highly enough. We live over in Bury but so enjoy coming here when we're over visiting family.
