Mediterranean Steak and Wine

I was taken here for Father's day, What a brilliant place. The food was excellent, with a wide choice of tasty food. Only remark I'd make is, some of the portions are small, considering the price. Two items that were a disappointing are the King prawns & Chicken wings. Come on guys ...
Ambiance was great with an artist playing a guitar in the background and our waiter had a real dry sense of humour and a joker and this added to the whole vibe. We really enjoyed our visit including the youngsters who are hard to please! Will we be going again? Absolutely ? %.

Kid-friendliness: Childrens menu available but a little stayed. Chicken nuggets etc.

White Barn

My wife and i visited there with my two teenage granddaughters the food was excellent and the service matched we where greeted by a lady called Michelle who was very helpful and a young lady called neve came over to make sure everything was ok she was a very bubbly and happy young lady who made our visit more pleasurable

Riverside Inn

The Riverside Inn is in a great location, and has a welcoming, modern décor which invites you to spend an hour with a pint at the bar, or spend a couple of hours having a Sunday roast dinner, or anything in between.
On our visit, late afternoon on a Friday, there weren't many customers, and we were greeted and seated quickly in a dog friendly space, which was part of the reason we'd chosen to visit. Dogs are catered for very well, with water bowls and treats in a jar available for you to help yourself. They also offer a full canine menu, with options including a roast chicken dinner for approximately £10.
The range of choices on our menu was good, with a solid selection of those from the main menu as part of the lunchtime and early evening deal. Also available were sandwiches for around £9.50 each, and so we chose those as we felt best value for money and also for the time of day, a lighter bite would be preferred.
2 of us had chicken BLT, and another had a posh fish fingers sandwich. All were very good quality, piping hot, and tasty. We all commented on how much we'd enjoyed them. We then decided on some desserts, a chocolate brownie and a lemon tart. Unfortunately these were a little underwhelming, and slightly let down the food score. There was very little lemon flavour in the tart, and the brownie was not a slice of brownie, more of square of cake. The prices for the desserts didn't seem to be qualified in their quality, unfortunately.
Overall, the service was friendly, but was quite slow. Between finishing the meals and asking for dessert menus felt a significant time, and then between placing the dessert order and them arriving at the table seemed to take even longer. However, generally a positive experience, and I will be visiting Riverside Inn again

Been hitting this place up for a while now and standards are high.
Classic double pattie burger meal with skin on fries n a blue tango slush.... huge slab of Matilada cake for good measures.... always delivered on the rapid...Git in!

Abda

I love going to Abda's. The food is always delicious, as are the drinks. I love how inventive they are with food and drink and how Abda brings a lot of her culture into her food.
They cater amazingly to allergies and vegans, which is a rare find!
It's got a lovely relaxed atmosphere, and staff are always lovely and welcoming. I also buy my eco friendly stuff from them too, as they have a section upstairs.
I would definitely recommend a visit ❤️

Hazel Pear

Lovely place, great selection of beers, food lovely. Only one downside, we had called in earlier to book a table and look at menu, husband really fancied pulled lamb cottage pie and when we went back it was unavailable ☹️

The Iron Bridge

I came here before opening time to complete some work... Claire the landlady was very friendly and very accommodating...

The pub doesn't open till 3pm but Claire opened up early for me... Thank you !!

The Bowling Green

I've not (yet) eaten here, but have visited a few times for open-mic evenings. I met such a lovely, friendly group of people who were there either to perform, listen, or just pop in for a drink.

I also spoke with the landlord, who happened to be sitting next to the bar listening to the acts, and he's a genuinely lovely bloke.

I intend to return soon, and hopefully next time I'll arrive early enough to try the menu.

Having celebrated Grandma's 90th birthday here. We can't express how brilliant the staff, food and organisation was at the Spinner. Nothing was too much for them. They served 18 of us with hot food, cold drinks and a few glasses of fizz all with a smile. Well done!

Bombay Quay

Phenomenal. The whole team made us feel hospitable, welcomed & comfortable. What an awesome, quirky restaurant this is! The interior & exterior is stunning, I can only imagine how beautiful it must look in the summer. We stayed behind after to have a chat with the owner & a few of the staff members, again great to talk to & super friendly! We’ll definitely back when back in the area.

The Lodge

Visited here to meet family a few months ago and has now become our regular go to for food even though we have a Flaming Grill next to where we live we prefer to travel here the food is always good and there is a wide range of drinks and offers the car park is large and the beer garden is very large with a large TV but the thing that makes this pub is the staff, they are all absolutely amazing it is probably one of the friendliest places/pubs I have ever been to they make you feel so welcome and always have time to stop and have a chat even when busy. I would definitely recommend giving this place a try.

Visited over 2 successive days while working in the area. Staff & locals friendly. Good atmosphere, great food & good value (recommend steak night on Tuesdays) & good selection of drinks. Thoroughly recommend.

The Hart of Hartford

This place is an abdolute gem of a place.Me and my mum went in for the steak night and what can i say.The lovely atmosphere and vibe is very inviting and relaxing.The food was stunning and the staff are so lovely and friendly and cant do enough,nothing is too much trouble.The food was cooked freshly and to perfection.We also had strawberry and white chocolate cheesecake,it was to die for.Would highly recommended going for food for any occassion.

Eastern Spice

Always spot on. Best Indian around in my opinion, portion size are generous and food is always piping hot when it arrives. Kebabs are fresh and naan breads are delicious. Tried most of the menu at this point and never really missed. Curry sauces are tasty, especially pasanda and Malaya. Our go to take away. Keep it up eastern spice. 10/10

Weavers Whistle

I had booked a room for up to 35 guests with a buffet menu for a funeral. We started arriving at least 30 min early. didn't phase the staff everything was ready. As the guests started arriving my daughter heard a rumour that a chef on duty had walked out that morning. Things weren't looking good ?

But no we didn't need to be concerned, everything was spot on, the manager who is Gary ran everything perfectly. So much so that 2 of our guests said they are returning and me and my family will be back at the end of the month to celebrate my ex wife's birthday with the rest of my family.

Our first time in Bear and we were pleasantly surprised. Delicious, well prepared dishes. Obviously made either great care. The food was served beautifully and the portion sizes are generous

Dessert Station

One of the best desert places in Northwich, we had two Waffles and a Cookiedoe each. Even though the order was mixed up and the staff called shortly after to apologize and offered us a refund we declined as it was delicious and the orders were a delight. I can't recommend the Chocolate and Strawberry Waffle with Ice Cream enough, the Strawberry's were fresh, chocolate wasn't sickly and the ice cream was fresh and tasty. Couldn't fault the staff they were very apologetic and polite which was enough for us, will be coming back again soon

Plough Inn

Lovely venue. Very friendly knowledgeable staff. Great Gluten free options. Good easy access for the infirm. The food was excellent and I will be returning now I live locally.

McDonald's

For some reason, fast food at McD's is no longer, this branch like most others just seem to take ages. The branch itself is fine, it's hard to comment on staff, as the only interaction is they shout your order number when it's ready. I can't stand the self-ordering screens, there are too many options, to many would you like to add something you don't want or make it large, I much prefer just asking for what I want to a person!!

The Lambs Wharf

We were travelling along the canal and stopped off here . It was lovely sitting by the canal watching the boats go past whilst sipping my favourite tipple.

Stanley Arms Anderton

The tip is an old haunt from my best why can I just called in for old time sake have a quick drink always like this pub is that a bit of character of course is right next to the anderton boat lift it does good food at a reasonable price has excellent service with friendly staff must pop in again sometime soon

Cock O’ Budworth

Great pub with lots of character. First time at this venue but it won’t be our last. Lovely pub with lots of different rooms to dine or drink in. Very polite and attentive staff. Food was top class and it goes without saying, you get what you pay for.

Parking: Large parking area with gravel overflow parking if need. Free and on-site.

Kid-friendliness: Large beer garden to rear with lots of space for little ones to play. Also lots of tables out front to enjoy a beer in the sun.

Clock Tower

Went in for a few drinks, staff were very friendly and helpful, could have a laugh with them food and drinks are reasonably priced and the beer was great and they had a great selection and something for the kids to do on site

Stayed at the campsite over this weekend. Lovely owners and a lovely tucked away campsite with amazing views. Everyone friendly and a nice little farm at the bottom with some animals. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a campsite on the edge of delamere forest.

Best fish and chips in Northwich. Must try the Cajun fish!

Pete is great but poor guy needs a holiday, stressed to his elbows every time we visit due to lack of staff and busy nights!

Greenbank Balti

Best Indian takeaway in the area we get the set meal for two and the staff are always happy to amend one of the curry's for us. Food is always stunning and full of flavour we will continue to use in the future

Caspian Kebab House

My faith restored in the best kebab around the area.Had a bad experience a few weeks ago when had to wait hour and half for delivery and was missing items. After a phone call was told to order next kebab on them and sure enough it was honoured served and delivered piping hot and in short time. Golden Horse

Good Chinese takeaways can be hard to find, as many are too salty or oily, but I was very impressed with our food from the Golden Horse. Neither salty nor oily, and very delicious, I had the prawn chow mein and pork with mixed vegetables, and both were excellent. The service was also really fast, with the food waiting for me on arrival, having ordered over the phone. Will definitely be returning.

Cross Over Golden

My dish special chilla and garlic was lovely!! My husband had duck and pancakes! Didn't eat it as was very overcooked and burnt!!! He couldn't eat it as was inedible very disappointed. We may have to go another place for our takeaway.

Slow Boat Chinese Takeaway

Been having take away from Slowboat for about 6-7 years, usually twice per month, Never had a bad meal, consistently good quality, delivery service is good, they give you estimate of delivery time and 90% of time its within 5 mins or so. Don't understand the bad reviews, makes no sense to us. We'd recommend every time.

McDonald's

Coffe too hot but good.Service feel too uncomfortable to serve the order. But they remember me.. no tickets in printers of my order machine... Sk! But ok.Atmosphere fool of fries and curious people all around.But is a good place... 6 from 10 for a fast-food. Toilets... disaster!

Amazing company! I contacted the company to see if they could make an extra egg (despite them being sold out) due to special circumstances, and they were more than happy to help out! The egg arrived in perfect condition, not to mention extremely fast, and in wonderful packaging, I couldn’t be more appreciative of the company for being able to pull this off for me :)

Outstanding curry house. Probably the best vindaloo I’ve ever had. Good portion sizes and not a greasy curry like the others in Northwich. Spot on. Can be busy on a weekend but that’s as to be expected and it is worth the wait.

Thoroughly enjoyed my food from Flames tonight!
The food was piping hot when it arrived, kebab had lean cuts of steak that was cooked to perfection and was also filled with a very generous portion of salad. The kids loved their cheesy chips, nuggets and milkshake … will be ordering again soon ?

We just finished the boat trip down the river,on lovely sunny day.
Get in here,the food being really a great,the drink nice and the whole time,the staff kind,helpful.
We choosen Gourmet Steak,Fish and Chips and S. Chicken.It was so good,literally just slid down on our throat.
Good value for the prices,nice couple of hours,recommended.
