Lovely friendly pub with fantastic staff. Good-sized meals that are reasonably priced. Outdoor play area for kids. Dog friendly with water & bowls. Several different types of outdoor eating areas. Disability access. Large free car park has some pot holes & side street parking. Take a stroll along the canel.

Staff were fantastic. Arrived early for a table booked for 2pm, had drinks in the bar area and sat outside in spring sunshine. Lovely play area, two year old and her auntie had great time. Called early for meal as table was ready, only eight of us although booked for nine…no problem! Food was delicious, requested no tomatoes on three plates……no problem! High chair and kids meal served at same time as starters….no problem. One diner wanting a starter as a main….no problem! Water spillage on the table(our fault)…no problem! Great interaction with server and despite order mix up he was wonderful. Bill split unequally three ways….no problem! A lovely place for a multi generational Mother’s Day meal.

Once you enter the establishment the food and the staff are excellent. Having said that the car park is an absolute disgrace . It needs resurfacing ASAP as it is damaging to many cars!!!
Popular pub, dogs welcome in the bar area. Two ales available. Staff very attentive and engaging. Visited a few times for drinks. Had Sunday lunch, again staff very engaging especially Jane our waitress. Choice on the menu very good, we had traditional roast which was good but I prefer it not piled on top of each other I like to see it clearly arranged.But certainly recommend and will definitely return.

One of the best meals I've had out in a while. I can highly recommend the Thai chicken kabab with salad, potato wedges and a sauce. There was loads of food and it was delicious. The place had a friendly atmosphere and was not perturbed by us turning up after an hours trek walking alpacas ànd all that it entailed. The surrounding were nice and modern a little posh but very friendly and welcoming. The prices were also reasonable
