We went as a family for breakfast. The staff were not particularly friendly, the table we were asked to sit at was dirty and the quality of the breakfast was not amazing. My partner was given a dirty cup, the bacon was only cooked on one side and the eggs were overdone. We were given cold toast and small pieces of butter that must have only just been taken out of the fridge so was impossible to spread. Overall, a disappointing experience.

Had a great takeaway from here. We got 2 carvery’s and they let us choose the vegetables as well. You get plenty of food and the server was really nice. I have previously ordered a delivery roast as well and it was really good.

My colleague and I frequent the Evenwood Farm regularly, the staff there over the years have been terrific towards us, particularly Carol, Helen, Julie and Mark they are a credit to the company. However,. at times the food is not always as hot as I would like The lamps used to keep the food warm are inadequate. Then venue in its self is very clean and tidy. Many thanks.

Visited the Evenwood today and as usual we were very satisfied. We were greeted by Helen & Carol who seemed very happy to see us. Absolutely amazing visit, breakfast was good as usual, even to the point where Helen brings us a jug of hot water for our tea. Carol also came over to wish us all the best for the new year. After our meal, more water for a second cuppa and then Julie came over to say hello before we left. Thank you. Well done all of you, keep up the good work. ??

We have recently made an online order to collect a couple of carvery’s to take away. Once we arrived everything had been prepared (ie/ gravy, veggie pie, Yorkshire puddings) and once collecting they advised that they could package the carvery sides fresh for us or we can take the boxes to load up and choose as we wish. We decided to make up our own boxes as we love the selection and getting tho choose what we enjoy and want more of rather than having someone else choose for us. We’ve also had takeaway carvery’s from here before where they have been delivered to our home and the food was hot and fresh then too. There’s a great selection at the carvery and the takeaway boxes are enough for 2 full meals, they also come in a very sturdy container which can be reheated in the microwave so if you choose to have some and save the rest for leftovers, you can still reheat it later on. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful from when we first arrived and we will absolutely be back again! The value for money and service are well worth the visit.

Dreadful Christmas lunch for my mum and dad...so disappointed especially from somewhere we have eaten at before and a place that are used to doing roast dinners! They didn't take account of mum's allergy either. Spoilt their Christmas Day. Paid £60 each. Shocking. Will not return here.

Three of us went for lunch on 13/11/2023. (table 39) Two had the fish supper meal which was lovely and excellent value for money, the other had the steak and ale pie again this was very nice. The young guy who took our order and served the meals was very obliging.
