We booked four weeks in advance for the mother’s day set menu and were not disappointed. The seven hour slow cooked rib of beef was the best we have ever tasted. It was exquisite. There are no words to describe just how succulent it was, as were the perfectly roasted potatoes, other vegetables, and delicious Yorkshire pudding. This was a lovely warm welcome and a most fantastic breakfast. We were returning because the atmosphere for a Sunday morning laid back brunch is wonderful here. Lovely decor, cosy fireplace, candles at tables and chilled out music make it the place to spend a couple of hours relaxing, which is just what we did. It was very nice the furniture was very stained and the toilets were a but worn and shabby. Could do with furniture being cleaned. Food was really tasty with a good selection. A little pricey for lunch though.Vegetarian options: I am not vegetarian but my daughter is. There wasn't a great choice but what she had was nice.
