Anyone else having major problems with delivery since they reopened? Every time I've ordered I've had at least 2 drivers assigned for the food to then turn up stone cold and inedible. No one answers the phone and maccies pin the blame on Uber eats which trying to get a refund is like trying to get blood out of a stone. If I didn't need to order nuggets from here for my son I wouldn't bother ordering at all. Absolutely horrendous

By far the worst McDonald's after waiting over a hour and 20 mins for my order. I ask after 40 mins and they say it's on the way I ask after a hour they said oh its here it just needs bagging up, hour and 20 mins later I ask again. And the person says I don't know what ime doing seems like nobody there knows what there doing and if they actually say they don't know what there doing then why on earth are they even working in that department..... Boils down to management. I feel sorry for the delivery drivers having to wait this amount of time for there orders absolute shocking of a service from McDonald's and deserves for this franchise to be closed down. If you can't deal with the work load then don't be doing the delivery's or increase your staff or get people that actually know what there doing. This is also going to be getting reported to head office and Martin-b won't say rest of the name as I will be giving information out.

Awful service. Ordered breakfast via the drive through and as always was asked to park up. After about 15 minutes realised that cars parked after us were getting their food, during the next 15 minutes I asked 3 different staff members where our order was and they all said, they’d bring it now. I ended up going in to the store, only to be told that our order had been given to the wrong person. Will not be using again, the two in Widnes are so much better. We never got our food

Ordered 2 large meals. Forgot both of the fries and received 2 medium drinks in large drink cups. Not sure how they get an order so wrong when it's on a screen in front of them and on a receipt. Not the first time this has happened either. Seen more brain cells in a moth.If you have a car, drive to one of the branches in Widnes. Better service and you will get served quicker.

Items missing AGAIN from order this has happened numerous times from the runcorn branch. Ordered through the app so uber eats delivery. Runcorn branch says its down to them. But in my eyes its the staff at runcorn for not putting the items in the bag in the first place ! The bags were sealed on arrival! Being refunded in 15 days !!! Joke

Frustrating ordering delivery from this place. Probably ordered 20 times over the last two years - Food is always cold, they don’t deliver straws or sauces (even if you pay for extra sauce) portions are skimped on purpose for things like fries and cheese bites. You order again assuming people make mistakes, it happens, but they disappoint you every time and I think it’s either the management encourage it, or they just don’t care about what they are doing aslong as the safe is full at the end of the day. Disappointing

Shocking service, waited in the carpark for our food for ages then the burgers come with no chips so waited again for the chips that were supposed to be large meals but the box was empty (don’t go large in this McDonalds it’s pointless) also the drinks half full. Get home to one of the burgers out the box. It’s run by kids and they don’t care about the orders. Best driving Widnes McDonald’s and getting everything right and better quality.

Absolutely disgusting!! I ordered delivery and it took over two hours, everything was freezing!! And so badly prepared! Shameful and I've also been into this McDonald's.. they never get anything right and nothing is ever fresh. Don't waste your time or money.
Absolutely the worst McDonald's experience of my life. 20+ minute wait for a HAPPY MEAL. Drink was half empty, warm and no ice. Chips chucked into the box upside down so they went everywhere. Veggie dippers LESS THAN half cooked. I saw multiple other customers take back their food for being stone cold during my loooong wait. All served by bored staff with not an ounce of direction or rush in 'em. AND the place is dingey af since the remodel too. I worked here a few years ago and would have sacked myself on the spot if it ever got this bad. Never going here again.

I agree with the rest of the reviews in saying this is the worst McDonald’s to ever operate. Every single time without fail the McFlurry machine ‘isn’t working’, food is almost always cold and of poor quality. Though I appreciate fast food is never of michelin star quality, this place is just shocking. Not only do you just about come away with what you came for, you’ll be waiting in the poorly constructed car park for 30 mins and wait for your single cheese burger. I have started going to the Widnes McDonald’s as their service and quality tops Runcorn’s by a country mile. Definitely worth the extra fuel to go to a decent franchise. I also would have thought that their recent renovation would come with some improvement, which unfortunately it hasn’t.

This is the worst macdonalds in the country everytime I’ve been there the service and food has been shockingly disappointing. I will never go again it is absolutely awful. Just don’t get how they can get it so wrong.

What did you do while renovating…. I’ll tell you… Nothing. Just got some food this evening and the food quality was shocking and the wait time ridiculous…. Food cold and my wrap had chicken in it that was cold with a slither of lettuce and nothing else and missing product within it… drinks are always never fully filled up every time I come here. The quality of the McDonald’s in Runcorn wasn’t the best but it certainly has gotten worse and this revocation hasn’t improved anything and just made it worse since reopening. Instead of renovating try working on the quality because it’s lacking horrendously so. Which is rich considering it’s only a fast food place.

This is without a doubt the worse McDonalds that I have ever encountered! It has been shut for a number of weeks however now it’s reopened the McFlurry machine still isn’t working? I arrived tonight to find they had no fizzy drinks on? The staff are completely clueless and when the food arrives it’s average at best! The franchisee should be ashamed of them selves.
