Omg this is my new favourite pizza takeaway…. The food is amazing!!My third order from here as my other go to place kept getting it wrong and sadly seemed to get greasier and greasier…. :( Thank heavens I stumbled across flames!I can only have thin crust pizza and garlic bread as anything too heavy bread/dough wise makes me ill and so many places get this wrong despite stressing the fact when ordering.. so far so good for flames… Thankyou :)The pizzas and garlic breads are amazing… proper cheese not too greasy and fatty either so no heavy sicky after which is amazing!! And you can taste the fresh ingredients… defo no trace of curry taste either which is often the case from many takeaways that offer pizza and Indian food etc so clearly excellent hygiene here with careful attention to avoid cross contamination! Well done please keep this up as it’s so rare it seems!!Omg the peri peri chicken kebab is superb! And the chicken is cooked to perfection! Not hard not chewy just awesome!!Really hope the high standards you have started out with in your new location continue and don’t slide as sadly so many other places seem to… please keep it up and you will have the market cornered im sure! Will see you very soon no doubt :) ❤️

Absolutely fabulous Izzy and Harry were great. Food and drink brilliant as always but it was the little personal details that ticked all the boxes.

My work friends and I went for a hen party meal here at DV8. Ruby the waitress who was looking after us was very attentive and friendly. She went above and beyond to make our evening more enjoyable. The DV8 chips were absolutely delicious! Definitely worth going back again ?

Amy was unreal. So kind and offered to take my friend the toilet because he was too drunk. Amazing staff. Amazing food. Amazing experience. He really helped my disabled friend.

Although I picked August, in truth we go to Dv8 at least once a week for lunch, which is usually a Saturday. The venue is historic 16th century, I think, and very nicely appointed. There are internal snd external areas where dogs are welcome. The external bear garden to the rear is also very nicely appointed. The staff are very friendly, helpful and always make a fuss over our dogs. That's the peripheries sorted, now down to the food. There is a good menu which is accompanied by daily specials. The food is always freshly prepared, so on average there's about a 20 minute wait, but who cares when it's freshly made. The food is more of a restaurant standard in its quality, but benefits from more generous portion size associated with pub food. I'm 6"3 and 120kg and have never been able to clear my plate. As previously mentioned the staff are very friendly and eager to help out, without the constant pressure of up sale etc. The food is amazing value, given its quality and around the same price point of JD Weatherspoons, maybe one or two pounds more per portion in some instances. The difference in quality between the two venues though is vast i e. the former being (DV8) being Premiership winners and the latter (JDW) propping up the Championship. I would highly recommend a visit.

We turned up on a weekday evening for an impromptu birthday treat for my friend. It was about 5pm so it wasn't busy and we were welcomed with a lovely hello from the two ladies behind the bar. We asked if we were ok to have a bit of food in the outside area at the back, and said we were celebrating a birthday. The ladies were very friendly, advised where to find the area and asked if we wanted the cocktail menu, of course we did! :) They gave us 5 mins to look through the (delish) cocktail menu, took our drinks order and said they would come back for food order (as we hadn't even touched that yet). Well, thats when they went over and above the already lovely welcome. They bought the birthday girl a glass of fizz AND a birthday card on the house. Such a lovely, unexpected touch. We were then able to order food, and we had chosen the meze platter to share. Well, that was gorgeous. I cant tell you how nice it was, just go and try it. I want to give a big thank you, from me and my friend, to Becky, Imogen and Ellie-Maye. We will be back thanks to your service.

Had tea here with my family. Been several times before. Sat outside in the beer garden with our dog. Staff friendly and couldn’t do enough. Went out of their and got a dog bowl. Food was excellent so was Tom our waiter who was helpful and efficient. Would definitely recommend.
