Our good fortune to stumble on this pub to avoid a traffic jam on the M6 en route to the Highlands from Devon. Don’t think we’ve ever seen such an extensive menu executed with great skill. Lunch was delicious, with very generous portions at a fraction of the prices we pay down South. Brilliant!

Sunday afternoon, very busy, worth having a table in the restaurant as bar area can get hectic.This place is what it is and delivers well, food drink all fine.Except it’s like a trip back in time to the 70’s. There are dozens of starters and mains to choose from, all 70’s classics included. Everything seems to come with a sauce! Dessert trolly completes the meal!Our food was tasty, disappointed my apple pie was heated in a microwave which obv makes it soggy.It’s a busy place and the slightly elderly clientele love it and return many times.

Birthday meal just after Christmas.Food ... wonderful, lots of choice, everyone was delighted with their choice of main and dessert.Staff... brilliantAtmosphere.. busy but not cramped.HIGHLY RECCOMENDED.

Go often but worst meal ever chips that are normally excellent were over cooked and burger was like leather they apologized for not having onion rings. Wife Salmon not cooked. Fair to say this was first time bad meal but would not hurry to go again.
