Stopped in on Saturday for some lunch, and was looking for a pub that would allow us to take our Dog in with us. The Market Tavern is very accommodating, the owners are very attentive and jolly. The food is sumptuous and generously portioned. All in all a lovely atmosphere and will return sometime in the near future ?

I’m a mature male age 20, it was Friday night about 8/9pm. I got declined access to the Tavern because I was wearing black jeggings (black joggers that look like jeans)I think this is absolutely ridiculous since this isn’t close to the higher end pubs, like dv8 which I got allowed into immediately. Terrible experience.

Had an amazing Sunday roast for £12. Three of us ate. Choice of three meats and a really good plateful. Wonderful tasty roast potatoes, meat and veg. Staff were very kind and helpful in adapting my dads meal to his needs. Highly

Popped in this afternoon and it was very busy but the landlord managed to fit us in for Sunday lunch . I must say it's the nicest Sunday roast I have had in years and we eat out a lot ? . Such a warm welcoming pub landlord is amazing very friendly as is the rest of the team . Can't wait to come back very soon and eat again . I really wish this was my local pub other pubs should take note this is how it is done top notch.
