The Dysart Arms is in a small, picturesque village full of character. We went for Sunday lunch and it was an extremely enjoyable visit. The room had lovely views over the church and countryside and the food was excellent. Most importantly, all the people working there were friendly and helpful - the service really was second to none. I only wish it was my local.

What a gorgeous place! Loved every part of our experience. Beautiful pub, with wonderful layout. Welcoming, lovely staff and excellent food. Really cannot fault at all and would highly recommend to anyone.

Something has changed since our last visit - it's always good, but this visit was outstanding. The food has gone up a notch and was the best we had had in ages. All the food was so good, the staff were great, lovely atmosphere, could not fault it. And the Christmas menu looks great too. Now our favourite B&P pub by far. Will be back very soon, thank you for a lovely evening. Dreaming of that bao bun.

Located in a charming village, the pub is incredibly welcoming, cosy and full of character. The staff are very friendly and polite. Food is delicious and fresh. There seemed to be lots of regulars and locals enjoying the food and atmosphere. I can't wait to go back!

A lovely country style pub with personality and and very welcoming. The food is fantastic, I had a bau bun with oyster mushrooms and it was delicious. The menu is varied with lots of different styles of food as well as pub classics. My family had the Sunday lunch and said it was amazing. The service was very good The staff were attentive and friendly. Dog friendly too. Third time I have been and will be back.

Had Sunday lunch here. We asked for a bar table next to the fire which was lovely, not as formal as the main dining room. I had the veggie Sunday roast option that was amazing - best veggie meal I have had in ages. Service was lovely as usual, not rushed but not slow. Wish I had had room for dessert, will have to go just for pudding one day!!Vegetarian options: Lentil, shallot and celeriac pie with red current sauce, roast parsnips and potatoes, seasonal greens and roast beetroot. Amazing,?

Perfect every time! The staff are friendly, the service is always superb but a special mention has to go to the chefs! The food is incredible!!! Every single time! They vary the menu seasonally and it is always absolutely delicious! Well worth choosing one of the more ‘expensive’ dishes on the menu although everything is very reasonably priced. Such a cosy place to grab a drink round the bar and settle in for the evening! Thank you to all the staff- we love it here!

We were 22 people for lunch having pre ordered the meals and everybody commented on the outstanding quality of food and service. For me, special mention should be given to the chef who delivered the quality and organised the serving of the main courses together and were hot and delicious - thank you.

We had a lovely family meal here with delicious food options for everyone. There were a few really good vegan options and good choices for the children too.The atmosphere of this old pub is lovely and it was nice to sit beside the log fire on a cold day. There are some nice walks in the village and nearby if you need to help your lunch go down.

Met with friends for lunch, we chose the Dysart Arms as we have been before. Once again we had an excellent meal. Food quality is very good, well cooked and portions were spot on. The service was also excellent, from friendly and efficient staff. The menu was varied and catered well for all tastes. I really cannot find anything negative to say.

The setting is superb. I have had many good meals in Brunning & Price pubs but I am afaid today's roast pork dinner was the worst I have had in any of their places over many years...

Google tells me I'm in the top 10% of global pub reviewers. I probably need to spend less time in pubs. The Dysart Arms, however, is one place I refuse to cut down on. This is everything a country pub should be. Lovely garden for the summer. Roaring fires in the winter. Excellent food. Friendly, welcoming service. Good selection of beers and wines. Unquestionably my favourite pub in the world.

This lovely old pub is in a fantastic setting. We all really enjoyed our food here. It's nice to have a children's menu which isn't just the usual burgers etc.Staff are friendly and beer is good. Why can't more places be like this?

A fantastic pub that we have visited many times. Picturesque setting with lots of history. The menu has something for everyone and the food is delicious. Staff are friendly and attentive and the bar has some great selections to choose from. There is a nice beer garden too!Parking is available but limited.I forgot to take photos of the food, but did manage to grab a pic of desserts....the Pina colada sundae and the brownie!
