This place has massively gone downhill. Soup from a tin, steak pie frozen, veggies frozen, chips frozen, lamb chops the size of my finger and fatty and mostly bone. Mash from a packet. Gravy was Bisto granules and the bread was reheated from a packet - all for over £60 with drinks for two people. Not a single thing home cooked except maybe the lamb and even that was terrible. Barman sat in the dining room watching TV. Dated decor and very dark inside. No customers on a Saturday afternoon but us. No wonder!

No Sunday lunch available, a limited bar menu with gammon and some snacks off the list. I had scampi which was ok though I realised later the cook had forgotten the lemon which would have helped.I was disappointed after the reviews I read. Was there a change of management recently? Male staff referred to me as pal and mate. Toilet looked like it wasn't cleaned today. The staff put the football on the TV apparently for their benefit, the two guys running the place didn't seem too interested in their customers.Viewing the unprofessional response I received today it doesn't look like improvements are imminent.
