If you love a pub in a time warp you will love this pub. Nice couple of local real ales served in good condition and very friendly locals. Loved the one bar electric fire and very traditional outside toilets. If you come in the summer you may be able to see a crown green bowling game being played.

This place is the real deal. Old school place where you can have a beer or 5 and just talk about with the owner Mike and local folks. Lotta history here and lotta good beer and conversation.

Been going there for 30 years. Great landlord, really friendly locals. Excellent beer. A true British pub with an unchanged classic interior. Love it!

A true gem, its in a time warp. Multi roomed, untouched for decades, not even a cash register, (though they do take card) decent local ales.

A little gem, step back in time in this delightful old fashioned pub.Nothing brash nothing flash just a gentle and welcoming country pub with a decent pint and welcoming landlord, and don't ask if they do food, they don't!

The Traveller's is a traditional country pub, there are very few left so well worth a visit. Great pint of bitter and landlord who makes you welcome.

A night of nostalgia, good ale, well priced and a good few hours spent putting the world to rights. This place is a gem. But sadly, not used by the local's pity!"Because if you don't use it you'll lose it!" And you will only have yourselves to blame.

Jeremy Meredith

Delightful landlord and welcoming locals along with a beautiful crown bowling green hidden at the rear.

A remote, old-fashioned bar which is a real step back in time to the 1960s. Usually only open in the evening, it's worth a visit if your passing. The bar man was friendly enough and ale was fine, just two to choose from. The outside toilets are disappointing but don't let that put you off.
