“Been for a carvery this evening (13/11/23) 2 adults one toddler. service at the bar was fast and the manager had great customer service.Unfortunately a little issue with my plate of food, but this was quickly rectified by the serving chef at the carvery counter and anew meal was served immediately. Once issue was handed to the management he apologies and offered a free desert.Supervisor Cassie was amazing with our toddler when hearing he was upset while eating his dinner and helped calm and encourage him to eat some more. Even gave us two free toys as a reward for trying and being a polite young boy!Cassie was amazing and is a credit to your restaurant as is the manager I unfortunately didn’t catch his name.My first time visiting and will defiantly be back! Food was lovely and all staff were more than accommodating for us at our visit. Thanks again!Kid-friendliness: Amazing with our toddler during a meltdown”

“I was just going to Warrington to exchange some boots, faulty. Being Saturday morning, I wanted to take the wife somewhere nice for breakfast. We pulled in, place immaculate, plenty of parking. We walked in, put you car reg in on ipad, for car parking. Waited about 10 seconds to be seated, then lovely lady Adele, gave us a choice of tables. She explained everything perfectly. I had the breakfast, bacon, sausauge, tomatoe, black pudding, hash brown, etc, I can honestly say, plate was hot, and food.It was £20.00 for both of us, and excellent value for money. Full English, access to the food bar for endless tea, and coffee, plus toast etc. And not to forget, the wonderfull staff member Adell. You made our day. Five stars for us. We will deffo re visit.”

“The Lower Angel is always a warm and inviting environment, with good music and good company. They have a rotation of ales that are listed on their chalkboards. They also have a good selection of spirits, ciders and lagers. The décor and atmosphere takes you back in time, especially with some of the older marketing materials still on display as curiosities. They have a selection of board games in the pub too, I believe that they at least have a set or two of dominos, so there's things there if you need a nice distraction away from a phone. As a final aside, they also have a beer garden, which is lovely to sit in on a sunny day.”
