Best pub in Wilmslow by a country

This is a proper pub, with decent genuine customers. If you're a poser or a wannabe.....this is not the place for you. Good old fashioned no nonsense landlord which is a breath of fresh air. Well run and chilled atmosphere. A place you can you go feeling a bit scruffy after dog walking and nobody will bat an eye lid. Good ale and wine .

Went here for my brother's 70th birthday. Fantastic night you know you have had a good night, when you tummy and cheeks are aching through laughing.Parking: Have a large parking area, next to the Farmers.Kid-friendliness: Have a gated play area, lots for the children to play on.

Nothing but praise for this place. A group of 20 of us popped in unannounced on a Saturday night and the team were brilliant. Good beer. Great real pub feel. Staff were smashing. Can thoroughly recommend without reservation.

Great 'local' friendly pub. Not for the Cheshire set, just an honest fun place.Doing a lot with the chapel lane community with seasonal markets and events. What can I say more. I work with them regularly and they are a great community pub a real focal point. Courtney and John are fantastic.

Awful, waited outside for table service for half an hour, none came, and when we went inside to ask how to get a drink we were rudely told that there is table service, even though we had already waited for it
