Fabulous one night stay at this fabulous traditional pub. Beds were very comfortable and bed linen crisp clean. Would definitely stay again. On a main road but that didn’t make a difference seemed quiet after hours. Staff very friendly. Great outdoor seating area.
Extremely friendly and helpful staff, and a large comfortable room with both bath and shower. Very comfortable bed, and a sound night's sleep. Sadly didn't have time to stay for breakfast, but noted that a diner had a very appealing-looking full English in front of him. A Thai restaurant on the same site, and situated in a very leafy area generally near to the main places you need to get to. Very pleasant stay, two of our rooms were small and the other a decent size but we had no complaints although it would have been nice to have a few more hooks to hang up our wet coats and towels. Rooms were very clean and the beds very comfortable! The landlady and staff were very welcoming - great location to walk to lovely restaurants. Thank you for your hospitality.
