We parked in the car park and had some lunch. A week later we got a parking ticket for £100 through the door. Apparently we needed to give our registration in to the bar. There were no signs and the lady behind the bar didn't say anything to us either. We will not be visiting again and we will be telling everyone we know not to go either.

Probably one of the better venues in Winsford, especially in the summertime with the river weaver situated next to the pub.

We reserved two rooms for a wedding reception with a buffet and I have to say it was phenomenal. Wonderful atmosphere, great food and a fantastic price. The only mark down was not being advised we wouldn't be able to sit in one of the rooms thanks to the buffet. Makes sense but we wish we knew ahead of time!

Called in for Sunday lunch, nice atmosphere, with great service and good beer prices. The Sunday roast was really tasty and plentiful, my only comments are there was only 2 roasties and they weren't crispy and the cauliflower cheese had sold out. We were offered complimentary deserts too, which was nice, but sadly let down by over nuking by Chef Ding, making the syrup pudding hard and chewy. But considering the cost for 2 meals and 4 drinks was just over £40, we couldn't really complain. Would we go again? Definitely! ?

We checked out The Red Lion today for a quick lunch, and a little walk along the river, the bar and table service was very good. The food was very tasty and arrived quickly after being ordered. The walk was lovely too! Thank you very much!

Very nice, clean place, live music was too loud, we were in a pub and could not chat to each otherDietary restrictions: Not enough choice, I had gammon, chips, with fried egg and peas

Visited for Sunday lunch, lots of choice and the sides were lovely. There was minimal kids menu but most popular items were available.Bonus was the complimentary pudding!

Came here to see a mate I hadn’t t seen in a while. Atmosphere was so cosy, they even had this cute Xmas market on with local businesses. Pints are good price, food was fab and the staff were excellent. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. Whole vibe was really cosy, if I didn’t live further away I’d be here a lot more ☺️

We went to the Red Lion for a couple of drinks with friends,There is plenty of parking to the rear of the property. The location is a mixed bag, it’s on a very busy roundabout, but backs onto a nice nature walk and has the river down the side. The benches outside are a nice sun trap when the weather’s right.Good selection of drinks, good prices, though the wine is a bit on the expensive side for what it is.Great service for the couple of the team we dealt with.A good atmosphere, music playing, but not too loud p.s. someone has good taste in songs. The few other customers we spoke to were chatty.A very pleasant Friday evening. We didn’t eat so can’t comment.
