The food was average, for a vegetarian/vegan meal. Despite the restaurant being less than half full it took the kitchen 1 hour 15 minutes to prepare a burger... The staff hadn't noticed that I was growing roots, were only aware of the issue when I got up to pay and leave. To be fair, they have taken some money off my bill, but in my situation that was useless because I pay for my meals with a corporate card...Won't return due to this issue, probably would if this hadn't happened.Vegetarian options: Not great, but they are edible....

We ventured into your establishment with out 2 young daughters for lunch. Having waited quite sometime to be acknowledged by a member of staff. A young lady with blonde hair walked passed us to the bar ignoring the fact we had been stood there. We managed to get the attention of a young lady with dark hair and glasses. We queried as to whether we could be seated. Of which she responded you’ll have to wait. I myself work in hospitality and would be extremely saddened if a member of my team conducted themselves in this manner. Poor attitude and very poor experience. In future we will stick with the carclaze in st Austell.

It was dead in the middle of a Saturday, 2/5 of the meals were completely wrong, we had to send one of the drinks back as it was flat and nobody came to ask if the meal was alright or if we needed anything else etc.

Service was soooo terrible. No check back, waited ages to be acknowledged and. seated, waited ages for the table to be cleared after our meal. There was only a few tables to, not at all busy.

Booked online and told when arrived staff meeting this is fine to organise a staff meeting but an idea to block bookings so noone is disappointed like we were won't return as its flawed maybe discuss this process in so called staff meeting

We were served by Maddie from beginning to end and she was such a delight.There were four of us and went for the “two for “deal. Two of us had the smothered chicken and it was so tender with the toppings being perfectly matched as regards taste and quantity. The chips were to die for and I am fussy about my chips. One of my friends had the gammon which had the choice of either , or , or both egg pineapple.I would have liked my garlic bread to have a little more garlic butter on it but that might not suit everyone.I ordered a salad to go with it and it was a lovely mixture of sweet corn , peppers , tomatoes , cucumber and lettuce. Very nice .We all had our favourite puddings. Mine was Betty apple caramel with custard. Two of my friends had the flake and chocolate nibbles sundae which they enjoyed but it only had one chocolate nibble on it !!It’s always good value food here . It’s one of our go to places when in Bodmin

We call it the excuse pub at work, always a reason why you can't have a table or you can't have food, apparently understaffed even when there are only 1 or 2 tables being served in the middle of a weekday. Staff won't even look at you when you come in if they don't feel like having any more customers. I get that there can be pressure on staff, but it's hard to keep a straight face when they tell you they are too busy in an empty building.Food was decent if you can get a table.

Strongly suggest you don't visit here! Was told no food at 7:45 on a Monday due to staff meeting - who holds a staff meeting in the middle of the evening? This place apparently! Staff really couldn't be bothered and wouldn't serve you a drink unless you drank it in your room!!! No atmosphere and really, really poor service.

Chain pub, so you know what to expect food wise.All well cooked and fresh.Great staff, though. Can't complement them enough.
We did arrive a little late in the evening I admit that...We had fish and chips and rump steak and chips they weren't the best we had ever had... I asked for salad instead of peas..so I thought it would be a lovely salad, I must have got the sweeping up...just a few bits of lettuce that were brown at the edges and two slices of tomato, no cucumber, no red onion fish was big plenty of it but tastless chips were the last of the frozen chips on both plates as they were all burnt around the edges...and steak was supposed to be well done.. and it was pink eaten but didn't really enjoy.

You can tell they are trying, but there is a cheap refurb going on, really bad painting and finish, decor is missing curtains and pictures etc which shows up the old tatty furnishings and fittings, carpets etc

After bit of shopping decided to give the roast a try. As local to our frozen food shop. Was well impressed.

Slow and unattentive service (were never offered a 2nd drink, had to chase up main courses and ask for starters to be cleared as they were going to leave them on the table even after mains had been served). Food was poor.

Hele goede service en beter dan verwacht eten voor een restaurant langs de doorgaande weg. Wij hebben geluncht tijdens onze snelweg rit en de club sandwich was gewoon goed. Onze ober was bovengemiddeld behulpzaam met een aantal dingen dus onze ervaring was positief.
