I've just moved in over the road from this pub and I'm absolutely delighted that this lovely pub is my local. I popped in to have a drink and use their Wifi (thanks to Openreach for messing up my internet). The service was so helpful and friendly and the whole atmosphere was warm, cosy and everything you want your local to be.Will definitely be back and very often!

I went in there for a stop off with my wife and two very small children. The barman was rude to my wife. For just asking for water for my little girl that left her feeling shaken. I had a pint bitter and it was off. A very unprofessional experience

A pub full of character with some well kept, well priced beers. We stopped by for a couple of pints which were tasty. The bar is quite dark with all sorts of wierd stuff hanging from the ceilings, you did feel like part of history was all around you! I hope places like this survive the current cost of living crisis, they add to the diversity of life, pop in and buy a pint!

I'm an expat desperate for good real ale while in UK. This place delivered it. Bass weirdly enough. They don't do food but very happy for you to bring in your own, pasties, sarnies or even fish and chips. Very friendlyThe entry is genuinely a hole in the wall, have faith, seek and you shall find

We stayed at the newly renovated Bodmin Hotel and after dinner out stopped for one at the Hole in the Wall. The locals were in full swing on a weeknight. Lots of brick a brack to peruse. Very dated but welcoming pub.

I attended the Hole in the Wall pub in Bodmin on a Sunday afternoon, following a conversation at the bar between friends we were confronted by what I can only describe as a mad woman. It turned out to be the manager of the bar who in my opinion had too much to drink. She shouted at us then turned her attention to me, so I tried to leave but was slapped on the face by this woman before I could leave. Tried to report this matter to Landlord but he seems to have a thing for her so would not investigate the matter. I will not be back.
