My friend booked a table 2 weeks prior to his 60th birthday.. on arrival we went to the bar to say we had arrived.. we were greeted with attitude..saying that they weren't doing food yet there was 70th b day party there attitude was an absolute disgrace not caring atall

I've had several meals here and they have all been excellent. It was my Father In Law's birthday and it's the ideal blend of being busy enough to give it a friendly atmosphere without being too brash or loud. It's the perfect venue for family gatherings. We went as a party of 6, (4 adults and 2 juniors) and it was as good a meal as I could wish for. The Sunday roast options were small, regular and large. I've only ever gone for the regular which is generous. The beef was extremely tasty and I would highly recommend it. The staff are very friendly and make you feel very welcome. Deserts are delicious and again served in generous portion sizes. There's something for everyone from ice cream sundaes to sticky toffee pudding on offer.Parking: There is a free car park but not the easiest to manoeuvre about.

Food is fantastic here and always a good size plate. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff and chef. Also found the bathroom facilities were spotless which is rare is some pubs. Would definitely recommend this pub, friendly and warm.

We went here for our annual Christmas outing. The food, service and atmosphere were outstanding! Well worth a visit.
Best food out for ages. Could tell it was home cooked and not ping ping food. My only complaint is I wish it was nearer to where I live as unfortunately we visited whilst on holiday. Would 100% recommend this pub
