The hotel is in a great location close to Bodmin. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and clean.Reception gave a warm and cheerful welcome.The dinner was stunning. The beef was tender and tasty. Probably the best I have had in years! The vanilla cheesecake was equally good.I thoroughly recommend.

We were in the area and looking for somewhere pleasant to eat lunch, ideally with a view. The Lanhydrock Hotel and Golf Club - set in open countryside close to Bodmin - fitted the bill pretty well. A modern establishment with a huge dining room and bar overlooking the links. It was quiet on the Saturday we called in and the atmosphere in the large room was somewhat soulless as a consequence. We enjoyed the food and the service was OK. It is worth mentioning that we were not disappointed by the far-reaching vista across the golf links! Parking is available close to the entrance.

Good sized clean rooms, very good facilities, friendly staff. Only one issue and that was the bed. The room had 2 x singles both of which were very hard (uncomfortable), which didn't allow for a good night's sleep. Got up both days with stiff, aching back.Rooms: Rooms quite spacious, TV very small, chairs not the most comfortable, well serviced, bed too hard for my liking but that's just my preference

I took 28 lady members of my golf club here for my captain's away day. We were lucky with the weather which stayed fine. The course was in great condition. We were greeted with the coffee and egg/bacon baps which went down well. The golf pro welcomed me and had set up the course exactly as I had requested. After the game we had a two course meal in the restaurant. All of the staff were very professional and attentive, catering for various dietary requirements. All of the feedback I had from those attending was very positive. Thank you.

Great stay for my mums 70th. Staff were very attentive and friendly. We had an evening meal and breakfast in the restaurant, food both times was lovely. We didn’t have the best weather so couldn’t sit outside and enjoy a drink but we will be back to do this at some point. Would highly recommend.

Had a nice day playing golf until it came to the meal which was pretty awful for such a lovely hotel. The chicken was over cooked and tough. The sauce that it came with was just poured on top not cooked with it, so it was very tasteless. The saving grace was the cheesecake for sweet, but those who had the bread pudding left most of it.
