“Popped in on a Sunday without booking, they were able to seat us in about 20 mins. Carvery was delicious, loved all of it and gravy was banging. Definitely be back.”

“I promised staff a 5 star review after their hospitality. A person in our group got far too drunk too quickly and I couldn’t fault the lads on shift that night. It was a busy night, and all they did was constantly check up on her, provide glasses of water despite being busy and even helped me feed her after they stopped cooking for the night.

“We stopped by after seeing signs returning from Eden Project. A little bit of a shaky start while we tried to find a table that wasn’t reserved, but had no signs on.
However, once seated. All of the staff were nice. The food was really good. We had a pizza, chips and a Pie and they were all fantastic.
Would definitely try again if I was in the area.”

“Wow, what a pleasant surprise. We visited and had Sunday roasts - beef and nut roast. Both were really good and the portion size was fantastic. - Something that is becoming more of a rarity these days. We were both full for ages afterwards. Dog friendly in the bar area and booking advised. Good, welcoming service

Vegetarian options: Nut roast option on Sundays and the chef checked whether a Yorkshire pudding was desired or not.”
