We visited this spot last night during the storm bomb that was engulfing Cornwall. We were on our way to the spooky tour of Bodmin Jail. Anyway we had fantastic fish and chips cups of tea and delicious curry sauce all served by an attentive and very hard working staff! Who weren't phased one bit when the lights went out due to a power cut, they just carried on regardless whilst the owner fixed the fuses! Worth a visit - excellent quality!

Worst fish and chips. Completely bland, tasteless, soggy and so over priced! Charged £20 more than much better quality places, could have eaten out in a restaurant for less! Note they state everything is fresh but certainly doesn't taste it, look or feel it. I can't emphasise enough just how flavourless this was, could swear this is just old frozen fish. Very disappointing and we had to throw most of it away. Complete waste of money.

Had a Steak and kidney pie and a Jumbo sausage and chips. The pie n chips was very nice my partner Jumbo sausage and chips said they enjoyed them. I would recommend to anyone visiting Bodmin have try you will enjoy them

Just called in here for takeout fish & chips while on holiday. Quality is Best of the Best!!! Beautifully cooked!! Great flavour!! Quality ingredients!!! Will be going back for more!!!

Lots of improvement; the chips are soggy with no flavour, garlic mushrooms not garlicky at all, haddock not bad, they charged for curry sauce but never put it in with the order. It’s ok only if you are very hungry. 10p charge for the carrier bag. Won’t bother ever again.
Not the flashyest restaurant I've ever been too, but it had the best fish and chips I've had in years. The service was just the best as well. I can't recommend this place enough. Wonderful!

Large cod & chips plus fish on it's own was £22 & change. My friends fish was the same size as mine. But it was good quality, unfortunately it's unlikely that I will return as I think, not value for money ?

Honestly say one of the best fish and chips ive ever had. The weather was dreadfull and to be able to sit down at a table and eat with a knife and fork instead of huddled somewhere draughty was a godsend. My wife and i had the large cod meal and was a beast. So glad we stopped.
