Really buzzing village pub. Full of atmosphere and life. Welcoming staff, and locals. Not a hugely exciting menu for vegetarians, but I have eaten here before and the veggie option was good, so the menu does change regularly.Overall, would definitely visit again, seems to be a huge asset to the village and exactly what you'd want from a village pub.

Great atmosphere. A real hub of the community and appeared very popular. A good range of beers and cider. A real log fire made the place really cosyVegetarian options: Unfortunately not much choice for vegetarians but appreciate there many not be much call for it. We still left with full tummies.

We called in at lunchtime and was very disappointed. My wife had the squid, which was lukewarm, and a side salad consisting curly lettuce a couple of rings of onions and quite a bit of sliced carrot, no tomato or cucumber a bit strange. I had a steak sandwich with similar salad and about fifteen chips. It wasn't cheap, it could have been a lot better with a bit of thought .

Went here to meet friends for lunch. Warmly welcomed by the lady behind the bar. Sat by a roaring fire which was very welcome on a wet and windy day. There were seven of us and we all ate lunch. Food was great with very generous portions.

I visited the St. Maybn Inn on Sunday 17th December 2023 and had a delicious cavern in the restaurant, with great service and a wide selection of drinks, I highly recommend it!

Searched on Google maps for somewhere to visit for food before our long journey home, and wow, what a find - we will definitely be back when in Cornwall. Everything was spot on, especially the food. Best pub food had in a long time, throughly enjoyed. Great pub and atmosphere and staff attentive.

Visited this weekend for a girlie weekend nearby!!!!! Pub was stunning, relaxing, nice jovial atmosphere and delicious food. We didn't do our homework so didn't realise there were no local taxis!!!!! Richard the owner insisted!!! On taking us home one at a time In his wee smart car!!!!! Really over and above their hospitality!!!!! Thankyou so so much ?

My friends and I booked a table here on Saturday night, following a recommendation, and I was not disappointed. I ordered the steak, and it was beautifully cooked, followed by a very naughty but delicious sundae dessert. We later met Richard and his partner, the chef, who were both so lovely and kind. They have run this pub and restaurant for 10 years and going by the number of patrons in both the bar and restaurant, they have made it into a must-go-to location. Richard was especially kind and helped us out, going way above and beyond, with a warmth and generosity that shows what a lovely, thoughtful person he is. I would highly recommend you go there - I certainly intend to go back again.

Popped in for drinks and snacks. Lovely quirky country pub. Made to feel incredibly welcome. Every table seemed to be booked for evening meals, so must be popular. We will be trying food next time!
