“We were on the lookout for halal food in Bude, and Spice Bude came up as an option. We were pleased when the friendly lady at the reception confirmed that it is indeed a halal takeaway, which was a big plus for us.
The food portions were genuinely generous – definitely no complaints there, we had plenty! In terms of taste, we found it to be about average. It hit the spot, but perhaps didn't stand out as exceptional.
Just a heads-up for future customers: this is purely a takeaway. There are no facilities to eat inside, so plan accordingly. Also, parking around this area can be a bit of an issue, so factor in some extra time to find a spot.
Overall, if you're looking for a convenient halal option with satisfyingly large portions in Bude, Spice Bude is a solid choice, as long as you're prepared for a takeaway experience and potential parking challenges.”

I needn't have worried. It's just as good as ever. It's pretty much perfect for us, a family of five. Good food at a good price. A number of the dishes were clearly home cooked and they were delicious.”

“Popped into this Chinese takeaway while visiting Bude, and it was a proper treat.

1-The Singapore Fried Noodles were absolutely cracking, full of flavour.
2-The Beef Chow Mein was good too, though the beef was a bit dark-looking—likely the sauce, but tasted spot-on.
3-Chicken with Lemon Sauce was decent; the chicken was lush, though the sauce could’ve been a tad sweeter for my liking.

All four of us enjoyed the meal, and the young lady at cashier was polite. Don’t know what the fuss is about with some of these reviews—our experience was bang on:)”
