Terrific staff, absolutely delicious food and an all round excellent experience. The restaurant was accommodating in allowing us to push our booking back by 15 mins and by allowing one of our party to have 3 starters rather than a main course because he liked all the starters and couldn't decide what to have! Just enough choice on the menu, we went for the "Christmas dinner" which was exceptional. Will not hesitate to return to Potters when we are back in Bude.

Little gem. The NY salmon bagel was delicious. The cappuccino was just how Iike with an expert heart and swirl. My OH had bacon and egg sandwich served on delicious bread. Service was good and made to feel welcome with our well behaved dog. Would recommend.

We celebrated a 50th birthday here on Saturday, in a small private function room seperate to the main dining area. Staff were accommodating, friendly & professional. Food was hot, delicious and couldn't fault it. Only quibble was a rather moody member of staff (green hair & chunky black boots) who made a rather blunt/ rude comment to a family member, and made us feel like some things "were too much" wouldn't expect this at a higher end establishment like this, especially as the other staff were fab!

An excellent little Coffee House. Located just off the main street up an alleyway, this place is a little gem! Wonderful helpful staff, menu small but very good. Budda Bowl recommended if hungry, sausage role was excellent, toberlerone cake very chocalatty). Tea's and Coffees of a high quality. It's not very often I give 5 stars but credit where credit is due, this feedback is well deserved. We'll done to all of you that work there, keep it up!

We had a lovely warm welcome on arrival by the member of staff who served us throughout the evening, she was helpful, friendly and didn’t rush us.We chose our drinks (which were really good!?) from the extensive rum menu that they have but if we had fancied something different there was plenty of selection with other drinks.There was multiple things on the food menu that we wanted to try but we decided on the whole bird to share, this came with 4 sides.When it came out everything was hot, tasted absolutely delicious and was bountiful.We cannot fault this place, it was well decorated, clean, staff were friendly, service was great.In a time where I feel standards in restaurants has dipped a little this place has proved that excellence can still be achieved.We highly recommend and will definitely return.

Nice atmosphere inside. Service was a bit mixed, with the staff bluntly refusing my request for a Negroni, and offering me lager instead. I don't understand why, as I definitely saw campari and gin behind the bar...Aside from a few moments like that, it was good. Fancied an Indian takeaway while on holiday near Bude and tried another restaurant on recommendation first but, despite their website saying delivery with 2 miles, they refused to help. Called Mirchi who were pleased to help, take our order and deliver which turned out to be a blessing as the food was very good and delivered in double quick time. Can’t comment on the restaurant itself as we used the takeaway service but will try and book a table next time we’re in the area. Delivery personnel very friendly and polite, food, as advised above, hot, tasty and plentiful.

We decided to come here on a very windy day when walking the dog. Overall, we were happy with the food and drinks. The Hot Chocolate was very nice aswell! One thing that knocked a star down for me was when they got a part of our order wrong (which we didn’t mind a lot) but when the dish was handed back a member of staff took it out our hands and didn’t say anything. However, overall we were happy with our lunch at the Beach Cafe and most staff were very nice and friendly! ☕️

This place is a lovely spot to take a break on the sunny terrace. Used it twice while we holidayed in Cornwall and the coffee and milkshakes were lively. My recommendation is to have the hot dog - they are delicious. Friendly staff too- highly recommended

Had 2 large cod and 1 large chips here last night. Cod was epic, skinless and boneless, and huge. Full of lovely white fish too and not just all batter. Chips were very good too despite the fact I had to drive nearly 10 mins home before I could open the box.All in all a very good experience and would definitely eat here again.Parking: Dont know the area well but was able to find a spot just round the corner.

I accidentally ordered a coffee frappe thinking it would be without milk (??‍♀️) and they happily exchanged it with an iced black coffee. So here is my honest review.... The establishment is a no... You'd walk in there & know the place needs a do-over (it's out dated & just looks rough). I order delivery so I can just block the establishment out. If you're hungry & live local Funky's will deliver after the cut off time. But despite everything Funky's does deliver.... There spicy spuds are amazing & you won't get them anywhere else in Bude. There burgers are so good. There pizza's are so tasty.... But there chicken, I've not had a bad piece of chicken from there it's always moist, warm & delicious.

Absolutely lovely this place. Such a beautiful location. The room was lovely with a HUGE balcony. It was quite snug for the two of us and the dog, but it was lovely and cosy, and the bed was so comfortable. It was a little chilly but reception sent up an extra heater and it was super toasty all weekend.We had a lovely meal on NYE. The food there is amazing, the team are so great. They’re a very special bunch of people, led by the gorgeous Beth, who makes you feel so welcome and at home. Everyone there makes you feel like nothing is too much trouble and like they genuinely love being there. The atmosphere is fun and relaxed but still nice enough for a special occasion. The food is so good and chef is very accommodating. Try the prawn pad Thai or the chicken schwarma.We’re already planning our next trip back.

Good food and service dogs also allowed.Returned in 2023 with the dogs and had a lovely fish and chips with trimmings and I must admit it's still a fantastic place to eat. We are going back to the area soon and it's absolutely on our to do list.

Our "local" for the week (quick pre-Easter week off) and it's obvious that the Bullers is many things to many people. Dog friendly (the pub dog, Purdey, seems to be known to all) to the extent that one of the locals came around and asked if we minded his own dog being let off the lead (after Purdey's bed time of course) and a focal point for locals it is still obliging enough of us parachuted in drinkers to make us feel welcome. Food comes by way of a takeaway van this week (I could have easily eaten his jerk chicken given how good it smelt if I hadn't already stuffed myself at the bistro at Tintagel Brewery an hour earlier) so I'm guessing they don't do food out of season though the board outside was advertising Sunday lunch. Beer was well kept (nothing special but the Proper Job I had was spot on). The first evening we were in they had the log fire going so it was real cosy on the sofas but our return this evening though still cordial was cooler since the wood burner was not ablaze. Nice though - worth dropping in if you're on the way through.
