Fantastic curry! Really friendly staff and the food is amazing. You can tell the chef uses traditional Indian ingredients and they have all the traditional curries as well as specials. Would fully reccomend!

For many moons I have appreciated good spicy food and searched it out ! I have found no better cooking than Das and Abul’s ? If they are really busy it is definitely worth waiting for…. Locals and foodies appreciate this Resturant ???

Went to the bay leaf tonight for a family meal and it was delicious. Over the years Bayleaf have always been consistently good, so you always know you’re in for a delicious meal! Super welcoming and never fail on quality! Can’t wait to come back as soon as we can

We visited the restaurant whilst staying up the road in the Bude Holiday Resort. The lady & gentleman who looked after us in Bayleaf were so welcoming & friendly, it was so nice to eat in rather than get a take away. The food was genuinly delicious, so fresh and lovingly prepared. We strongly recommend eating at Bayleaf!

This is a regular choice of ours for excellent Indian cuisine. The South Indian Garlic Balti is a particular favourite. All main dishes we have had are well spiced, rich and tasty.

Bit of a self confessed curry expert so know what a poor curry is like as much as a good one and thankfully, the Bayleaf delivered a good one! Sometimes away from major cities, getting a decent curry is a bit of a lottery but we've had takeaway from the Bayleaf a few times now whenever we're in the area and it never fails to impress. Well recommended.

Extremely unprofessional. As previous reviews mentioned they are super racist. Especially the lady in the restaurant. We walked in to be told tables were booked and take away will take another hour. Although there a few empty tables, we came back thinking we can order for pick up and were told by another guy that we can come in. Again called up to confirm and was answered by the same lady who we spoke earlier and she said no spaces. Never again will be visiting or recommend.

My fave Indian of all time, and being pregnant it is my number 1 craving so I can’t get enough! The staff are so lovely and the food is just 10/10, best Indian around. Would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a good Indian meal!

Visiting Bude on holiday with family and ordered takeaway from here. Collected food and accidentally had over paid by a fairly large amount but left without realising. Then got a call back from restaurant telling me of my mistake so I went back and Collected rest of money the next day. Such honest service is hard to find. They could have easily kept it. And the food? Brilliant! Empty plates all round. My tandoori mixed grill was especially good. Would order again if in the area.
