First time trying the famous Ape pizza very nice place very friendly.Good service very clean and tidyFood well didn’t enjoy that much and make me think that they don’t have the large pizza’s as the dough are no fresh make?Any how was ok no need to recommend it as is one pizza place and they do have a customers already .Do I return I guess not probably I will try something different

We have just got back from our holiday staying near Tamar lakes and we had take away pizza ? and burgers 3/4 times here and can highly recommend the pizza ape!!Cooked fresh and the service is impeccable lovely people and the food was great, would 100% eat here again.

Visiting family in Kilkhampton and was tired after a long day crabbing we decided to grab 3 pizzas 2 chips and a garlic bread totalling £55 not exactly cheap but unfortunately was met with pre made pizza bases which were very chewy and “bready” NOBODY ate any crust whatsoever as we were so overwhelmed by the base of the pizza! Very unfortunate and would never return!

Ordered x 2 12in Pizzas (one margarita one steak) with x 2 fries and a portion of coleslaw.Freshly cooked & tasted fantastic but even better was the service !! owner explained he was over at a near by glamping site and the shop was shut as they do pizza over there on set days. We were happy to collect from there but he came back to the shop as we wanted the steak pizza and that's were the steak was !! Top service!! Highly recommended ?

OMG...had our first take away deep crust 14" pepperoni pizza from here last night. I am 55 and eaten some pizzas in my time from NY to Florence but that was one of the best I have ever had!

Been here a couple of times. Great pizza. Very enjoyable. Will be there again soon.
Staff were very nice & polite, and things looked okay when I opened our Rooster burger & chips when I got back home. However then chicken tasted awful, like it had been brought from the local Chinese restaurant. The coating on the chicken was like mush and just came off as we bit into it, the actual chicken tasted like it was processed & we couldn't eat it. Very disappointed & would not go back there.

Small burger/pizza place with amazing interior. Really good pizza, kids were delighted. Highly recommended! Definitely we will be coming back.

Placed our order over the phone, very prompt and was ready within 15 minutes. We ordered 2 pizzas a burger, garlic bread and fries, food was delicious and would highly recommend.
