We popped into this pub for a drink and booked a table for dinner later the same day, very glad we did. The food was really good and freshly cooked, perfectly cooked duck breast with fondant potatoes and veg, vegetable curry with coconut rice. The staff were friendly and the service great, care taken re allergies and gluten free options indicated on the menu. We would definitely come back for more : )

These guys got through covid whilst supporting the local community & have overcome a recent kitchen fire by using their adaptable outdoor space & garden. Great choice of homecooked food, varied selection of drinks & a warm welcome, What more do you need!! Free 2 hour parking a short walk away. (Free to park between 5pm & 9am) Dog & family friendly. A proper traditional pub in the middle of town. Regular events - quizzes, music, cider festival & their charity hog roast at the town Christmas lights switch on is not to be missed!!

We visited while staying in Davidstow. The pub is a proper pub as they used to be so don't be expecting a gastro pub. Had a lovely welcome and served quickly. The landlady explained that they had recently had a fire in the kitchen which meant they could not do their usual menu. They did however do food on their outside grills and pizza oven. We had a mixture of pizzas, nachos and sides. All our food was really good and reasonably priced. Please be kind when reviewing this pub. They have got through COVID and now suffering from a fire but still trying to survive while offering lovely food.

Despite the challenges posed by a recent kitchen fire, the team at the Masons Arms looked after us brilliantly. We booked a lunch for 20 people before the fire occurred, but they still managed to provide us with an excellent lunch, with plenty of variety and something for everyone, cooked on the barbecue and in the pizza oven. The quality of the pulled pork burger was second to none! If you're in Camelford do pop in for a great selection of beers and ciders, as well as the delicious food. Wishing the team a speedy recovery from the fire and hope it will be back to business as usual very soon.

This lovely pub had a kitchen fire 3 weeks ago and have managed to keep a menu going by cooking on a out door BBQ. They are to be applauded as the food was wonderful (despite a wait to get it) and was well worth the wait with large portions and freshly cooked food. The burgers were exceptional and the chilli was home cooked and tasty! I would recommend and if we were here longer would visit again to support them.

Have been coming here for 30 years with local family and friends. Prices for drinks gone through the roof. Was charged £14.45 for a large Chardonnay and a pint of Proper Job. I actually questioned the price but was told it was the large wine that caused the high price. On the menu the wine is £8.25 a large glass that makes a pint of Proper Job...£6.20. I usually pay £4.20. That will be my last drink at the Masons.

The Bar and Service Staff were pleasant ! the food was not that great a big disappointment after visiting the Cob Web in Boscastle the day before. Limited menu...had to ask for my green beans and they were very crunchy on arrival ...shame ...

This was the only pub we could find to eat , while staying in the area on Saturday We booked in advance and the restaurant area was quiet No curry, lasagne , pizzas Only one choice pie , so limited choice No puddings offered after main menu Wine £10 a glass! I see other visitors complaining on TripAdvisor Catch of the day cod! Really!! Ordered 515pm as we arrived early we know it is cooked fresh as per sign , but two table ordered after us had theirs first !! 45 minutes later ours arrived Grilled chicken burger had a dry bap thin slice lettuce and half tomatoe slice! no sauce chicken very dry had to ask for bbq sauce to put in it! We wish we bought a takeaway pizza up the road! Husband had the fish which had bones in it Chips and onion rings greasy 15 pound a meal! Would not visit if in the area again

Lovely pub. It was pizza and burger night and the burgers were amazing! Mine was a lamb and mint mayo with chips to die for and coleslaw. Side order of crisp onion rings. My daughter had a sticky toffee pud and ice cream with butterscotch sauce and it was gorgeous apparently. Hospitality great and very dog-friendly. Lovely big tables with loads of room for all the family. Would recommend to anyone.

Lovely pub in a lovely village. Food is all fresh! May be a slight wait but worth the wait and you can't rush good quality! Parking close by too. Family run and everyone really friendly. We went on burger and pizza night and it was great, couldn't fault it , thank you

What a gem. From the service to food .This ticked every box couldnt not find any fault at all .We visited saturday evening while on holiday and for my partners birthday we wanted a traditional cornish pub and we got it .So friendly and welcoming, the food, the taste was excellent and yes you can definitely tell its fresh .Also i would like to note the disability access is brilliant too .I personally felt very relaxed and comfortable in the surroundings. My speech isnt good and the staff was very accommodating. Also walking around there is space and access to the toilets is in each reach .The staff cant do enough for you.On behalf of myself and partner thank you very much and hope to visit again .

Unwelcoming dingy pub. This place is definitely one of a kind as its the only place I have ever had a bad pint of Amstel.Think it must be haunted as my pint was headless.Camelford is such a lovely small town and I won't let this rancid boozer sour my memories of a lovely friendly place.

Having reserved a table, we were on time and had to wait 25 minutes for our table to become available. Once seated we then had to wait another 35 minutes for our main course. The food was ok, but very ordinary. It was too hot to eat for at least 20 minutes. We were not alone in having to wait so long. There seemed to be very few staff and we ended up eating very late.
