These guys got through covid whilst supporting the local community & have overcome a recent kitchen fire by using their adaptable outdoor space & garden. Great choice of homecooked food, varied selection of drinks & a warm welcome, What more do you need!! Free 2 hour parking a short walk away. (Free to park between 5pm & 9am) Dog & family friendly. We visited while staying in Davidstow. The pub is a proper pub as they used to be so don't be expecting a gastro pub. Had a lovely welcome and served quickly. The landlady explained that they had recently had a fire in the kitchen which meant they could not do their usual menu. They did however do food on their outside grills and pizza oven. We had a mixture of pizzas, nachos and sides. All our food was really good and reasonably priced. Please be kind when reviewing this pub....read full review

We popped into this pub for a drink and booked a table for dinner later the same day, very glad we did. The food was really good and freshly cooked, perfectly cooked duck breast with fondant potatoes and veg, vegetable curry with coconut rice. The staff were friendly and the service great, care taken re allergies and gluten free options indicated on the menu. We would definitely come back for more : )
