Christmas menu booking absolutely brilliant, masses of food and it was real good value for money, couldn't believe how big the portion sizes were and we'll presented. Service brilliant we will plan to go again for the carvery Christmas menus over the next couple of weeks.I can see the place has had a real good make over and it's welcoming and friendly.

The staff were not that welcoming despite having reserved a table a few days before the visit.After patiently waiting over 20 minutes from being seated, I had to go and ask if we could have menus to start deciding what to eat.When the food was ordered (steak) we weren’t asked how we wanted it cooked, waitress had to come back and ask (after the chef sent her back).BUT when the food finally did arrive (almost an hour after we arrived) the portions were very generous and the food tasted delicious. If the service had been better then I would have probably given 4⭐️

First time eating here very disappointed Service was slow , food was greasy had a hair in the food and when we went to pay no one around so told the waitress at a table who couldn’t even say thank you
