This is a hidden gem off the beaten track in North Cornwall for those in the know. And deservedly its reputation for fine food is growing quite a fan club. Excellent food and a friendly informed service from Conrad and the team. We wish them great success but not so much that we can’t get a table !!

Well, What a fantastic culinary evening we had! "Curry Night at The Rising Sun Inn Altarnun" It started when we arrived and were warmly greeted by Dylan, The Bar Manager. We were then led through to the Dining room and our drinks were brought through. What a fantastic meal we had at the Rising Sun. I didn't want it to end. I had lamb croquettes to start with which melted on the tongue and delivered a stunning mix of flavours. Followed by a colourful and heavenly bowl of ravioli which was again a heavenly mix of flavours. Very well done to the lone chef on duty last night. We will definitely be returning. I had one of the best meals of my life. Thank you.
