“They have a free campsite here which is brilliant. Good flat pitches and a toilet with shower that you can use.We had a meal in the pub which for the most part was ok but one of the meals was not very good, nuked new potatoes which were quite inedible and Hunters Chicken which was just a butterflied chicken breast smothered in bottled barbecue sauce with a strange cheese topping! To be fair the staff were very helpful and understanding and took the price of this meal off the bill. It was probably just a one-off as they seemed to be having staffing issues. It is a quaint pub with a good atmosphere.”
