Camped at the back of the pub on Sunday 7th Jan - the pub is with Brit Stops - in our motorhome (narrow entrance to the rear - our van is 7.3ft wide or 2.25m). Great welcome, good grub and a proper pub atmosphere. A little gem of a find. Very dog friendly. Thank you.
They have a free campsite here which is brilliant. Good flat pitches and a toilet with shower that you can use.We had a meal in the pub which for the most part was ok but one of the meals was not very good, nuked new potatoes which were quite inedible and Hunters Chicken which was just a butterflied chicken breast smothered in bottled barbecue sauce with a strange cheese topping! Small village pub with good food. We went out of season, so it was a bit daunting walking into a pub with only a handful of locals, but they were very friendly and got the fire on for us!
