My first visit to Falmouth and I already had several recommendations from friends to visit Beerwolf Books. It's a concept I was not familiar with. A book shop with a bar? A bar, which is also a book shop? Either way, I'm not interested in the books much but the location tucked away behind the high street added an air of mystery. The stunning 400 year old building meets you in a gorgeous courtyard and opens up to reveal an impressive staircase up to the main floor. I was immediately impressed with the vast variety of beer on offer. Lots of cask and keg beers. The cosy interior was very welcoming on my second visit but the weather was fair on my first visit so we sat outside. I think it was my favourite destination in Falmouth when I visited.

What a gem! Hidden off the Falmouth high street, entering Beerwolf is like being transported to a fairytale, filled with beer and books. Cosy nooks and an open fire. Beer from across Europe. Book choices you're unlikely to find in a Waterstones. Lovely, and knowledgeable staff.Baby and Dog friendly too!
