Came here for breakfast on a Saturday afternoon. The full Cornish breakfast with hog's pudding was absolutely superb. One of the best I have tried in the county or indeed anywhere without doubt. Coffee was also superb. Fully recommend all round.

We came to this cafe for lunch and coffee today. We don’t know anywhere in Falmouth, but had been on the St Mawes ferry, and the location is great for the pier. My husband had ham, egg and chips ( his favourite) and I had the cottage pie with savoy cabbage. Both dishes were superb and very good value. My cabbage was cooked perfectly and the cottage pie really tasty. My husbands dish had proper thick cut ham, really fresh tasting eggs and crispy chips. Coffee was great. Service was also lovely friendly and efficient. I wish this cafe every success and wish it was local to us ! We’ll be back next time we’re in Falmouth

A gem of Falmouth town, The Stand has become an almost weekly pit-stop for me, to hideaway and people watch comforted by a full Cornish or English with good local sausages and mushrooms cooked tastefully. The service is always warm and conscientious with a full provision of available condiments. A usually welcome playlist or radio runs with some pop classics or alternative hits, if I'm not listening to a podcast.A good place to meet a friend for a catch-up and they serve a respectable standard of coffee for an traditional English 'greasy spoon' style caf. It's also one of the only places I know locally where I can happily request fried bread in place of toast. Delicious. The location is ideal, central and offers a feeling of timelessness, as the world goes by around you, safe in a comfortable, unimposing setting where you guaranteed service with a smile and even the option of noodle Ramen among the other dishes on the menu. Grab a newspaper, crossword, a good friend or a good cuppa, pull up a chair and tuck in!Kid-friendliness: Family friendlyWheelchair accessibility: Accessible.

Cute little cafe in the centre of Falmouth, staff have always gone above and beyond ever since I moved here back in 2020 - I’ve been a returning customer ever since.Highly recommend the Full Cornish breakfast as it’s to die for!Staff are really friendly, it’s got a great vibe to the place and the food is affordable too!Highly recommended if you’re planning on visiting!Parking: If you’re parking in the area, you will need to park in the car park on The Moor as its double yellows outside the shop.
