Was a decent find this place. Had a veggie burger which was really good. The lady was proper friendly too. Hope to try something again soon.

The soup was very nice. However, the lady who treated us to the food was bloody abominable, we asked for a bit of extra time to order so she wondered off for ten minutes. She spoke very loudly for no reason and seemed alarmingly moody despite us being polite and quiet.

I can’t remark on the meal as my friend and I didn’t stay. I found Pea Souk on the website and we were looking forward to trying it out! We walked through the door and went to sit at the window table which was an EMPTY communal table that would sit 6-8 people. Despite the table being empty the waitress/owner? Indicated that we could only sit opposite each other however one side only had a bench seat and as my friend and I are elderly with back problems we wanted to sit beside each other so that we had a backrest. We explained this and we were greeted with tuts, sighs and raised eyebrows so following this awful reception we left. Only try this place if you don’t mind doing exactly as you are told by an unpleasant woman who doesn’t deserve custom.

Absolute gem! Came here hungover and she served us the kind of delicious burgers you dream of. Her attitude was refreshing and honest. Thank you so much!

A horrid rainy day ! On our way to Trago mills . Fantastic little, quirky cafe, food delicious . We will be back...absolutely loved.

absolutely delicious food. cooked to order, so not "fast", but all the better for that. The quesadillas, particularly, were excellent. I would have liked the bhajis a little more highly flavoured, but this is fine-tuning. Excellent.

Many vegan options. My Ethiopian food was lovely.

Amazing coffee and stunning food in a comfortable atmosphere and great host. Love the art on the walls too. Highly recommend.

This is a proper job cafe. It's run by the owner and has her character stamped through it. She will make things to order and let you know what specials she has on today. And the food will be special, she always has a decent menu. It's tucked away and very small, so you aren't guaranteed to get a table as it's quite popular because the food is so good. I would say please be respectful of the size and that the same person serving you is also the one devising and cooking the amazing food you'll be eating. It's not your average cafe. More like stepping into someone's home really as it's quite intimate.

I booked for nine people for a birthday celebration. It was lovely to have the place to ourselves, and the food was absolutely delicious! Very satisfied customers!

Wonderful little cafe. Great food. We were a group of nine, and we had a fab time. Didn't have to wait long for our food. The puddings went down well too, especially by Mr Cuba! Thank you.

Entered late afternoon on a Friday holding my 8-month old to find Pea Souk empty bar the owner and checked she was still open. Her abrupt response was ‘yes but you can’t come in here with a pushchair’. Shocked I asked why? She then told us there wasn’t room and it’d take up space for other customers.

The food is lovely, the venue very intimate, the customer service style of the owner is interesting.
